Lack of real people on the streets :/

Maaan, i dont know if its like this everywhere else but there just seems to be a lack of genuine, real, down to earth, freee minds nowadays! I live in Miami, beautiful city, but damn the ppl are so annoyin. Everyone has the same Jersey shore loving, superficial, shallow programmed mind, and sometimes i just feel like an onion ring in a box of french fries nobody seems to enjoy the little things outta life anymore! mind you i have plenty of friends and have lived here my whole life, but none of em trip (SUCKS) , and the ones who do do it for the wrong reasons , my opinion. Im just making these observations as i get older, and with every trip I seem to think of sumin new If no one realizes how strong an impact the media has on ppl, well damn, u better get noticing! When i say its hard to come across free minds i mean ppl who are free to make their own choices w/o needing the approval of other ppl, who have that stamp of approval nailed into their head by...the media. Everyones always tryin to outdo the next person, instead of loving them and enjoying life right by their side, reflecting on how beautiful life is all the mean while. i guess ill just sit back here, on this beautiful 64 degr sunny day in Miami,,w not a cloud in the sky, trippin to the Trance Around the World podcast, hoping to come across some real ppl real soon!

 

yea, 75% of the USA population are douche bags. I have just learned to except it and not associate with those people. But on some days i do notice myself getting extremely frustrated about the over-all arrogance of some people, seems like most people are only out for themselves. Thats why our society is doomed.
Also it probably has alot to do with your location, miami, lol. I will never live in or near a city again!
Places up north like new england, especially maine, have alot of down to earth cool people.

 

You could move to the country, people actually say hi to you there.

I am in Miami as well... And I know exactly what your are talking about. Miami's douchebag rate is much higher than the rest of the nation. However there are plenty of us out here in this city that you are missing. As a matter of fact, there are many people on this board that live in or around Miami. Stick around the forums here, make some friends and step back from d-bags that Miami has become known for. Obviously it's time to step back because if your listening to Trance they must already be rubbing off on you. ;-P

A few months ago I walked to one of the Walgreens in Miami Beach and there was an entire eastern european family wearing matching CSI Miami shirts... fucking hilarious! I wonder if they chose Miami as there vacation spot just because of the show!

 

For some reason I just thought of the movie Sarogate

I was thinking one day as to why there seems to be so many people who are in search of those "real people", whatever this real people person is like. It's kinda like a hopeless romantic but a "hey I wanna make/meet real friends/people but can't find any" version of it. So then I put myself into perspective. If I'm not at 100% every second of the day, then I might come off as moody. So even though I might consider myself somebody a person could have a great conversation with about the so many subjects at life, at 8 am going down to the local convenience store I probably seem like an asshole. But that's not me at all. But that's the split second 8:52 am version of myself 400 or 500 people like you might see and then think "Oh man why is everyone so such and such". and so on and so forth. I guess the underlying issue is being overly assumptive about the nature of other people. There's a lot of good genuine people out there, you just might be catching them at 8:52 AM RIGHT?
