I am full of Adderall and saw no good threads about it, so I'll start the discussion. You always see the threads about "What is your favorite Cannabis activity" or "...tripping activity." Well, let's talk about dopaminergic stimulants instead. I also decided to make the title about solo use, since that is how I use Adderall mostly, given that I am actually prescribed it. But, even prescribed, it still makes me at peace with the world whenever I take it, and I do occasionally insufflate it if I had some left over, or something. Tonight is one of those nights, so it happens. For me, the great thing about these drugs (amphetamines, methylphenidates, etc.) is that you can pick almost any activity and focus on it while thoroughly enjoying it. Unlike crappy stimulants such as caffeine, I can also relax very easily on dopaminergics. I find it hard to do nothing, however, unlike on opioids where I usually just close my eyes and listen to music. As boring as it sounds, some of my favorite activites are listening to music while casually surfing the internet, reading different articles about stuff you are interested in. Lately, I have been researching my family tree, and Adderall mixes perfectly with that, especially with music on. Reading is fun. I usually have little motivation to read more than 10 pages of a book, but on Adderall I get lost in chapters. I was a math major in college and did a good amount of advanced independent research, so my all-time favorite activity is doing abstract mathematical proofs. It comes so much easier to me on Adderall. I wish I was prescribed it in my college days. I got cum laude, but who knows the potential? Last but not least is musical instruments. For me, that is the electric bass guitar. I've played it for 10 years and recently discovered that playing music is enhanced by Adderall as well. That is the good solo stuff. I live alone and am unemployed right now, so I am glad I have things to keep me busy. Adderall with friends is fun too, if they are on it as well. But that rarely happens. I'd like to hear what you think. Also, you might not get these reactions to Adderall. I am prescribed it for both ADD and treatment resistant depression, so that factors in.
For adderall playing guitar, jerking off, listenin to music, video games, I'm sure I would enjoy reading but I only read for school but I no doubt read more efficiently. I only did crystal once (as in redosed multiple times over the course of a day ) pretty much the same but if there was a difference I had more of a desire to be like out and about, I enjoyed the bookstore alot on crystal except for the fact I thought everyone knew I was tweaking.
querilla: How did you take the meth? If you are used to just eating Adderall, I would imagine even snorting crystal meth to be intense. I would probably be nervous in public to. I don't get nervous on Adderall anymore. My pupils get enormous, even from small amounts, so I had to get over that issue quick haha. I guarantee there are people who think I am a meth freak simply by my bugged out dilated eyes.
I freebased it out of a pipe, I was surprised how big of tokes you can take with that stuff. You basically can become a fog machine when smoking meth. Snorting adderall was my preferred roa
Not taking adderall or ritalin. That's my favorite activity! :smileylol5: I was prescribed ritalin for ADHD up until it stopped working as medication and started acting more like speed. Now I have severe anxiety and heart problems because of it. I think it's a bad medication for treating any form of illness. Also, I think ADD and ADHD is just a way for doctors and psychiatrists to tell you something's wrong with you, that way there's an opening for you to feed them money for years on end. BUT, that's just my opinion.
That is a valid opinion that you are entitled to. If it makes you content, that is all that matters. I would partial disagree, however. Real mental illnesses do exist. I say that first, assuming you hold this belief, as your post seemed to be leaning to. I have lived it and it is scary. However, you are right in the over-diagnosis of people. Too many people are put on relatively dangerous drugs when a course of modern psychotherapy would be just as efficacious with no side effects. >querilla- snorting it used to be my favorite method, but lately I have been enjoying the sublingual (under-tongue) route. It is still fast, but less jittery like the other poster mentions.
I loved adderal until I found this: no need for a script, it costs 5$, is a lot less jittery than any method of taking adderal or meth, and you only have to dose once and you stay high for 10 hours just bust that inhaler open, cut the horrible smelling cotton rod up into small pieces and eat half of it for your first time, ONLY HALF.
I find the levo-amphetamines, of which that inhaler is heavy on, more jittery. I am tempted to buy one of those just out of curiosity, though. It used to contain pure dextro/levo-amphetamine, but they replaced it in the 70s with an analogue of which I do not recall the name. I wouldn't recomomend someone to take Adderall out of the blue (haha- think the 10mg pills), as it is powerful mentally and physically. However, those who already enjoy it definitely know why each other "gets it."
it's propylhexedrine now oh and I forgot to add, you can actually eat on benzedrex without the roof of your mouth tearing and after you eat it brings you down
I know a friend of a friend who is prescribed Adderall and he eats like a horse even more so when he's on his medication. When he smokes pot he eats far less than when he's on Adderall ditto for when he has nothing, zip, zada in his system. Plain and simple he's an eating machine when on Adderall, he also drinks a lot more water when on it.
Yeah. Sometimes I get into the mood to binge eat on Adderall. Usually at moderate doses. Too low of a dose and I just experience my everyday Adderall feeling, and too high of a dose kills my appetite, sex drive, and any other basic human instinct haha.
To continue the thread: What music do you like best on stimulants? I tend to steer towards acoustic jazz alot as well as more upbeat pop songs (not modern pop though- you won't catch me listening to Katy Perry when on speed). The Beatles, mid-era Genesis, and some 90s underground pop like Stereolab with its pounding electronic beats. Seems made for speed.
Agreed. Adderal always made me feel like a zombie, it took away my personality and desoxyn was worse!
Well mephedrone is what I've used most recently (or whatever the mix of it is I've been getting) and I enjoy listening to techno, drum n bass and trance mainly but also a variety of stuff. I guess what sticks out in my head at the moment... Chemical Brothers Pendulum Infected Mushroom Tool Fleetwood Mac Nirvana northern California underground rap: Andre nikatina, smoov e
I take Adderall every now and then for cleaning and sexual purposes. I usually end up on hipforums chatting away with my i-tunes blasting in the background. BTW I love the Chemical Brother's new album! =D
Ive listened to alot of the tracks but haven't heard the whole thing, sounds like a slightly mellower album. 'dIssolve' is probably my favorite song I've heard from it so far. I saw them in August, they are amazing live.
They will be playing Ultra Music Festival this coming year... Chemical Brothers live + 100,000 screaming fans in downtown Miami right on the bay = PRICELESS My favorite track on the new album is Swoon =D There is a wicked, wicked, wicked remix of that track on the 'Another World' ep
Ive never been super hardcore into the edm scene (partly due to not having the money) but of like the bigger name djs I've seen: Crystal method moby Paul van dyk benny bennassi armin van buurren Infected mushroom Paul oakenfold I gotta say chemical brothers are my favorite, see them if you have yet too.
OT: My favorite thing to do on stim's is to be around a bunch of people or friends to talk to, Listen to some music, Go to school or work.
