Im confussed

Here's another thing I find amusing about todays views. Perhaps its slightly selective memory and I certainly was not on a forum like this with interactive discussion but people didnt seem to take RC's as 'serious, respected psychedelics.' reports of deaths from 2ct7 and 5 me0 amt made people make a very distinct barrier between respectable psychedelics and what I guess were almost viewed as pseudo psychedelics.

 

so people generally thought of RCs as psuedo-psychedelics then? in terms of their effects? because i would say that isn't the case. i only have real experience with 2ce as far as RCs goes, but i have gotten just as far out there with that as i have on LSD. but in terms of overall safety and health...it doesn't really deserve that kinda respect.

have you ever tried 2ce at less than 20 mg?

 

I know what you mean. The RC's are still marketed as "RC's", and there's still something about the fact that they are so unstudied that some people seem to attribute to being less real than more traditional psychedelics.

I sort of brought myself into psychedelic use with RC's, as I think more and more people are doing - they ease themselves into psychedelics and view these chemicals as respectable psychedelic equals.

However I think many people are still starting with mushrooms/LSD/DMT/Mescaline, and the stigma surrounding something fully synthetic and from an internet source still doesn't seem real to some people.

 

I found out about RCs in 2000 first, never ordered since I had no PO box or money, but sure as hell wanted to. I think it was $200 for a gram of 2C-B.

Jeez, I just searched google for a gram of something and got a vendor as seconds result, I think this is getting way too huge. Stupid hicks and their meph.

 

yah you are spot on with how I was going to respond to porkstock's questions and he kind of answered them himself as well.

Effects wise they can be every bit as powerful and meaningful as the studied psychs some people don't view them as such because they're not steeped in years of years of use in religious/spiritual context and don't have the whole counter culture association like lsd did. Plus some people are skeptical (perhaps rightfully so) of a random powder being sent from some Internet company.

 

Hmm.. I guess I come from a different background. RC's were my first psychedelics (2c-i and 2c-e) and I took them pretty seriously. I guess it was mostly because it was just me and my bf at the time and 2-3 other people including a chemist, with a small interest in the scene. We were kind of hermits back then so it was easier for us to sit at home and get mail order drugs off the net than to go out and try to make connections on the street. It's still that way for me just because I'm the only person out of my group of friends that ingests anything "heavier" than weed and alcohol. I come across occasional connections for other things here and there but they are erratic and unreliable and I'm always sketch about scoring from someone new at first...

 

I stopped getting on here when I stopped doing drugs. Mostly when I stopped doing k. It's easier for me to stay sober when I am not talking about drugs and what not..still have a lot of love for a lot of the users on here. I will stop by from time to time to check in and say hi to all my friends on here..shermin, mmtg, codmous, writer, guarriliabedlam..lots more. Best of luck to you guys, stay safe. =)
