Here's the few pics I've managed to take for the past one and a half years: First pic is shitty because it's a scan of my old bank card: Here's a few months later, barely any progress made because I didn't know you weren't supposed to continue to backcomb (lol): Here's me with one of my ferrets I used to have: look my birthday is 4-20:
This is me after I completely gave up, switched to only washing with water and stopped shaving the sides: This is the front of me now, the little dread going up used to be a backcombed one but it completely came undone and a natural one formed: This is the back of me now: So yeah, letting my hair grow out and dread as it grows. Debating on whether or not I should even rip when the new ones come in. Does everyone who doesn't rip end up with a beavertail or just some?
yeah, more like a skunktail but shaving the sides made them thin out a lot. Now they're thickening up though
Aww yeeeeayy ferrets!! I always wanted some but I don't like hamsters or rats because they run away. I spose if ferrets had the chance they would run away/run off to explore 0.o People who don't rip whatsoever get all tangled and would probably, eventually, form a beaver tail. Would be a good idea to rip if you don't want that ^^
You don't have to rip every single one, but to prevent one massive knot forming you might want to rip a little bit. Looking good though
Yeah they'll explore all over your house until they find one spot that's dark and secluded that they can crawl into and if you have more than one they'll fight over it. My ferret's names were wake and bake and they loooooved weed
You can rip selectivley. I give congos a trial period, and if they're comfortable and I like them, they stay, if not, I rip them before they become permenant. Although I don't rip at all, any more... unless I was on the verge of one lock, or something. But yes, you can decide which ones to keep, of course.
lol thanks! and hmmm, I might just let em get really fat and then idk a beaver tail might make a nice body pillow
In my opinion they don't, it feels really weird. I try to lift all my dreads up so I can sleep on my actual head and not my hair, it's uncomfortable to me sometimes.
for sure I just feel like the texture of just one dread might be different than a bunch of different shaped bumpy ones, idk
thanks hmm...I guess I should update this sometime, the little dread on top has really taken off and fattened up
