i would be real interested to see what kinds of beings you see when you are smoking DMT or drinking Ayahuasca (i know this isn't an Ayahuasca forum, but as you all know DMT is a part of Ayahuasca/Ayahuasca Analogues).... if you could draw them or describe them?

do they have limbs or are they blobs? are they humanoid/therianthropic? do they morph or pulsate/shimmer to a rhythm, or is it random? do they make any sounds or communicate with you through words/telepathy? what are they doing? are they normal colours or is there more? and have you ever seen a picture or a painting from ancient mythology and thought.. OMG, that's what i see?

p.s. any landscapes or objects you have seen would also be of much interest to me...

They vary, the most common I've seen is like they are made of very colorful, sharp, defined, geometric patterns and they constantly like morph or vibrate in form or something. They no doubt appear quite distinct from the background.

I've also seen something like this:
Which is pretty much the same but much larger in size.

Then on one trip I saw basically like alien heads but they didnt seem as real in a sense as the morphing fractal beings, but they appeared to be smiling or something so perhaps its their joke???

terrence McKenna described them as self dribbling basketballs and I think that's appropriate, although I see them differently but the main point I think that metaphor would suggest as in my experience they dont really have defined limbs. I often see many though and it seems like I can differentiate between them so I feel they have clear individual borders and not really blobs.

They do morph/pulsate to a rhythm and almost come off as they are doing some type of dance. There is audio effects on dmt but it does not seem like they are making it, I hear like a whirring sound like the kettle being left on the stove coming up then it changes into very random to me but structured sounds of like some super processing machine. I have felt welcomed by them and scolded once as well but I've yet to directly engage in any form of communication with them but I certainly don't Doubt those who say they have.

Im 3/4 through "DMT the spirit molecule" by Rick Strassman just now and i find these entities fascinating also, it's really weird how so many differant folk have such similar experiences on DMT like that buzzing sound then a sort of pop and they've broken through, also alot of them seem to get opperated on probed etc Do you people that have done DMT believe these other realms are real or just in your head, to me some of these trip reports are so fucking bizarre that it makes me wonder how the brain can just build these scenes up from the imagination its really weird.

I've only come across any being like thing 2 times.

The first, I saw two small floating orb looking figures. Had a real mechanical look to them. Didn't get to pay much attention to them because I was in awe/fear of what was going on. I only dared to take a few glances. I was in a crystal clear space and they just seemed to kinda hover and bounce around. I can't recall any specific noise being made.

Next to those was a huuuuuge creature. I believe it was the one that was causing the fear and intimidation to look. Much more human like. I saw a large finger, easily the size of my body. Pretty bland in color. It gently pushed it's finger to the side of my head and the loudest noises began to occur. As if I was sitting on a Nascar track and cars were zooming by.

My second experience was waaayyy different. I was on some MDMA at the time also. I was being flung through a mess of patterns and was approaching a huge being. No way could I even see all of it. Had a real sphinx'y vibe. It had no distinct edges and was covered in an almost checkered pattern. A lot of oranges and reds. As I got closer I could see more patterns that seem to be like a man and woman morphing together. This being had less of a "being" feel to it, if that makes sense. It had a surface but was not a solid. I was flung through it into almost the exact same scenario. My speed was picking up and then all of a sudden I was there. Not sure where or what it was. Seemed like a temple. Crystal clear though. Everything was still. Seemed like I was there for an eternity and a split second at the same time.

All I know is, I will never forget those experiences. Couldn't if I wanted to.

The rationalist in me wants to say its all in the head. Unlike LSD/shrooms/mescaline though I think both smoked dmt and salvia gets closer to a collective unconscious vs. a personal subconscious like the traditional psychs. Possibly due to the way they are both consumed via smoking or something but like you said its really hard to chalk up all these similarities to personal expectations/desires/metaphors etc.

I often get the impression of practically be thrown into these realms and there's always very little if any idea of my life, expectations, etc outside of the experience being integrated into the experience.

I don't completely dismiss the actual existence of these entities/realms and it certainly puts a damper on any non drug spiritual experiences I may have in the future but as of now I find myself skeptical of such perceptions.

I don't doubt it, im going to be skeptical of my perceptions if I ever have anything like it non drug induced though just cause I think we have to basically assume these are hallucinations lest we look crazy. There are even some other dmt users that don't believe we have met entities let alone 'straight' folk.

I'm sure its even more convincing without introducing any foreign substance into the body but the rationalist in me wants to believe its like a cerebral hiccup or something.

^^^ know what you mean... and maybe mysteries would be better to remain mysteries after all... i keep picking the questions up and putting them down again... partly because it is such an interesting area and i am well curious objectively but also subjectively, these things have happened to me and i want to understand them... understand myself... idk

This rant will just touch on appearance rather than behavior of my entities in DMT hyperspace.

Entities, entities, entities. How many and what kinds? Let me count the ways, LOL.

Holy crap - I didn't touch this post for days because it is huge in my head - I have done DMT hundreds of times, so needless to say I've had a few entity encounters.

It is so hard to generalize. I have seen entities that were tiny, that were gigantic, that filled rooms, that were building sized, that were anthropomorphic, that were animals and insects, that were gendered or not, that were children or elders, that were combinations of architecture/entity like the Crystal City entity shards I met recently. Some look so incredibly alien, they are difficult to describe - to me (I think it's xenophobia) these ones impact me as "UGLY!" For example, I've seen entities that were nothing but pseudo-pods coming out of stacks of what looked like open human surgery flesh. Gross! Some look so incredibly archetypal (I guess) that they take my breath away - like the slim, tall golden female who pushed the other aggressive entities away from me once when I was panicking in hyperspace, then comforted me and guided me. Other "alien" entities I've seen include - pillow lava entities, 3-D Lens (like a thin sphere) entities, tiny shiny metal bugs, a dirty hairball thing that looked kind of like an possum.

But, if pressed to generalize I would say the following is generally true and fits with Terence McKenna's very clever "self transforming machine elf" term:

    1.) Anthropomorphic (look like humans)
2.) Diminutive (height of a typical 12 year old child)
3.) Slightly overweight (go figure - my husband and I are underweight and people in our family are fit)
4.) Biomechanical - there are parts of them and things on their bodies and/or clothing that appear to be like brightly lit computer circuitry. Things that are ever changing, flashing, spinning.

The first thing I remember my first time doing DMT I saw these pyramids and a sphinx with terrestrial features quickly approaching me. I only remember seeing her move her black and white tentacles around her body for a few seconds and then the trip really came on and I saw these colorful shapes all around me rotating, while my spirit was pulled out of my body completely. After that it's all kind of a blur, except for my memory of being extremely amazed. The second entity I remember was either my second or third trip I was in a crazy alien like garden and a child entity sat in front of me and kind of filled me with happiness in a way. The last DMT trip I had was the only one that was outside and by far the best. It was a cloudy day and I was surrounded by all kinds of different trees. I don't remember one specific entity but remember seeing a bunch just changing infinitely and too quickly to take in all of the beauty.

hey i was jw if you have to personally make DMT yourself or can you like buy it from somewhere. Where i live, the dealers only have weed and shitty stuff like xanax. Ive always wanted to try DMT, shrooms, and LSD.

I've never done DMT but I just posted a thread about seeing entities on mushrooms. I dont know why I saw them but I have a hard time believing that they are just hallucinations. The rational side of me wants to think this, but the rational side of me also tells me that we can only see what our senses allow us to see and hallucinogens can open up certain pathways in our brain that allows us to sense things that can't be seen or felt with the traditional 5 senses. my rational side also tells me that parallel universes are very likely. So, just to weigh in on the argument of being true hallucinations vs being real...i cant base my experience on dmt, but I do feel like the vision of entities is not entirely a hallucination.

when I saw them they were all over the sky and they were all different shapes and sizes...the details are getting a little fuzzy, I should have written a description down as soon as I came down so i could remember, but I do remember some were human-like..not at all human, but with two arms and two legs and a midsection but bigger and rounder and more colorful and abstract looking. some looked like machines, metallic with big bug eyes...and then i remember some looked like strangely shaped single celled organisms. i wish i could remember more vividly.
