nice! i had heard about the book and also this film..never got a chance to read/watch. Gonna check it out right now!

 

A little too quasi-scientific for my tastes, but they gotta appeal to a broad market (most of whom is no doubt drug users who think orange juice makes you trip harder on acid). some of the things that came out of those "scientists" made my jaw drop lol. Baby steps this was a good one. I liked hearing about Strassman's study.

 

Damn. Now I have to "buy the dvd and support" because I thoroughly enjoyed it... and for a lot of the reasons mentioned in this thread.

Trying to bring "science" to bear on this thing is moving and amusing at the same time. I'm guessing that's a part of why they had the narrator in black and white, reminiscent of Rod Serling and "The Twilight Zone" (is my age showing?).

I read the book and skipped over entire chapters because I wasn't interested in the paperwork and regulatory hoops Strassman had to jump through. I'm glad they didn't dwell too long on that in this and what they did touch on wasn't too boring.
