Description of what a swinger club is like

We are swingers and regularly attend various swingers clubs and would like to give everyone an idea of what a typical swing club is like. Our favorite club is Trapeze Club in Atlanta Ga. I'll describe the club to give you a picture : In the front of the club there is a bar (BYOB), dancefloor and restaurant. Buffet food is included in the price of admission and if you bring a bottle (or beer) they take it off you and serve it to you when you request with free mixers. There is also a dance floor and a DJ playing tunes. Everything is very upscale and it's very much like a typical nightclub, that is until one considers the back rooms. There is usually some light sexual activity in this part of the club, sexy dancing, touching etc but rarely anything much more than that. When (or if) you get ready to explore something more adventuresome you can venture into the back areas of the club, first stopping at the locker room since "street clothes" are not allowed in the back. They provide towels and most people undress completely and just wear towels but some bring lingerie to wear. Your clothes and valuables are locked away in a private locker and you go from there to the playroom area. The setup of this area consists of one big general area with another bar area with several couches and chairs.On most nights you'll see lots of sex in this room, even people having sex at the bar. Off this area there are two large group rooms, one is for couples only (Saturday night is couples and single girls only, Wed, Thurs, Fri and Sunday single men are admitted) the other larger area is for anyone. These areas have comfortable mattresses on the floor and are quite large. We have seen 30-40 people in each area. These two rooms have no doors and you can stand at the door and observe if you choose to. There are also several smaller rooms that do have doors that lock for smaller parties and those that simply choose to be alone.
Moving further back in the club there is a game room (pool table etc) and then another very large area with yet another bar, four large hot tubs (nude mandatory) and a swimming pool. In this area there are several canopy beds and comfortable chaise lounges. Throughout the club there are many large TV screens (and of course porno showing on them).
As far as atendees, it changes from visit to visit but in general there is a wide range of ages but usually there are more late twenties and early thirties in evidence, although we have been there when it was a mostly older crowd and a couple of times it has looked like college night (have to be 21 to enter the club).

I am very interested in playing with others if/when my girl wants to. But my protective side is very wary and suspicious, and wants to keep her safe.

Swingers clubs are usually pretty expensive.

 

What happens if someone let's say has a case of performance anxiety?

Do people snicker and stuff?
Do the ladies get pissed?

What about guys with really small dicks?
Do the women tend to stay away from those guys?

I've never been-but might in the not too far future.
Those issues I mentioned are not anything I expect-those scenerios just popped into my brain.

All Prices include dinner and a late night breakfast. There is a great variety of food and it's very good and plentiful. All drink mixers included (Bring your own bottle).

To answer another question, we have been going to this club for over 6 years and we've never seen any problems. The club is very upscale and plush, really what you'd expect from an upscale nightclub. The attendees are warm and welcoming and come from all walks of life as well as being all shapes, sizes and origins. Not sure I understand the "snickering" question the club is for adults and everyone behaves like one. The people there are there to have party and have fun. Not everyone swings, some just come for the dancing, dinner and drinks. No one really cares about the size of a guys dick etc, there's always someone for everyone to play with if that's what they want to do. It's a low pressure atmosphere where "no" means "no" and no one has to do anything they do not want to be. The club is well ran and there are always staff members around to help anyone that has any problems.

Sorry, we don't know of any on premise clubs in the KC area. There are several Swingers groups there but they meet in house parties.

Here is one in Switzerland - pretty plush and really nice sexy atmosphere.

Everyone has to wear sexy underwear (and some of it sure is!) throughout the club. Like the one you mention a bar area/sitting room/dining area (top top food quality)/dancing area.

Downstairs in the basement are two saunas, one jacuzzi and sado-maochist rooms.

Upstairs (and depending on the nights) open to couples only, though a couple can take another male/female up with them, are three rooms two withg two triple beds, one with one triple bed & jacuzzi, and then about five big triple beds-alcoves. Most people don't lock the doors, leave them open. And most rooms have wall mirrors so it's all pretty cool.

We've been there about 5 time to date but my wife got pissed off last time when there were only a few women and lots of guys were trying to grope her.

I think that is the main problem with the swingers clubs - some go just to play with all, any and everyone and others go either as items (two/three or more) or else meet up with regular fuck-buddies and use the premises as a meeting place.

I reckon all uses are valid but how to control the randy guys that think everyone is a free-for-all?

I've never really considered myself a "swinger", but lately I lost interest in the traditional concept of relationships. Not for me, at least not now. But there are still girls I meet and become dear friends with. Seems like a nice place to meet like-minded people that are also comfortable with being physical.

Questions:
-How would you describe the culture at these type of clubs? I have issues with getting too close with people I can't relate too. Just seems kinda dishonest. (to myself and my partner)
-Are there any health guidelines in place? Or is it sorta just like "you're on your own"?
-Any tips on etiquette at these clubs?

 

Culture.............. sexual!

Yes, it's good to have some rapport first before sex and in our nearest one you can spend some time in the bar/restaurant/club areas to see if there is someone or a couple that interest you - sexually & emotionally. If not just go off on your own as a couple.

If voyerism turns you on at all then you will be prompted!

No health guidelines that i know of except that condoms are everywhere; it's assumed I think, that you are 'grown-up' if you are in a swinging club!
