THere's a frequently asked question thread with lots of helpful info.

My advice would be to find which method you want to go with. Do it once good and let em be after that. Palm rolling and wax are not your hairs friends. Keep that shit clean. Find a good residue free shampoo and wash when you feel it's gettin duurrrty. Ya hairs need friction to lock up, so If ya shits nasty it's gonna prolong the process. Have lots of patients. Shits gonna unravel, come undone, make weird shapes, shrink. Just chill, and enjoy watching the progress.

    High.

what he said. read the FAQ sticky thread. it will get you familiarized with the process and techniques. but yeah, keep it clean, keep it wax free, and you should be good!

i suggest going neglect if you have some patience cuz its a fun and wonderful journey. plus if you ever need to feel good about your crazy hair, post some pics and everyone is pretty sweet with comments. i have found this forum to be the most helpful with natural dreadies.

    happy trails!
