i need help figuring out how to bead this type of bracelette. I shouldn't have any problems with pattern ideas once i get the pattern and routine down. i uploaded a few pictures below to show what i am talking about. it's beaded work. i am used to working with small beads like this and fishing wire, i used to do that when i was younger. i was a pro, but i can not for the life of me (though i swear i am dyslexic when it comes to knots) figure out how to make this type of bracelette. if you guys know how or think of ideas i should try please help me out, i have some badass ideas i want to come into fruition as soon as possible. i may need very detailed directions if it seems complex, but i'll listen closely and be an attentive student! please help me guys much love
looks like it was made with square stitch or on a loom. get a loom and some 3mm or 4mm cube beads and try. cant really give you details... but if you get a loom they do have instructions and graphs that you can customize so you can make any pattern you like. good luck!
Round Square stitch is very easy. You tube will help. Watch Karla teach you. You dont even need video, as it will be easy to learn on static web pages. ''Square'' stitch is what it is sometimes called, but other stitches are called square sometimes. The round=square stitch moniker was created to put up a security border around this noble and strong stitch. A round-square border. Much stronger than peyote stitch, and it will not fall apart as easily if a thread breaks. I find it much easier to start and finish than looming. View attachment 46147
Have you ever made a hemp bracelet? So you're taking 4 pieces of string, two in the middle, and the other two longer on either side. And normally you'd put the bead on the center strings, place the left hand side string over the middle, and pull the right hand string through the loop from the bottom up? I would make the one you posted, by putting 4 or 5 middle strings, repeating the hemp strategy. like 5 beads in the middle. tying off before hand and then the bottom, removing excess string both on the top and bottom and continueing the pattern like a normal hemp bracelet (with just the 4 pieces originally)
