I saw another archive news video from the 90s where a group was doing a skydive and one of the women bumped her head on someone and went unconscious. Another skydiver went after her, caught up with her, and pulled her rip cord. You could hear him screaming for joy right after that. .
well i've done plenty of this. i'm almost certain my version of the game goes black and white when you die. it's weird watching luis die in color.
I've been twice. Tandem my first time (cheaper) and then solo. It's an awesome experience. I wasn't scared at all, at all. Up untill the point where I climbed on the plane. As the plane started climbing I kept thinking "okay, this looks like it's about two miles now." When I saw the clods pass I was pretty scared. But I was with my yonuger girl cousin the first time, and my ex the second time, so I had no choice, but to jump. Or to cling to the side of the plane and to cry 'I don't want to die'. You have about a minute of free fall where you can see the whole world. For like 100 miles unobstructed, and you're dropping to it. Then you deploy the parachute and start cruising to the ground for about 5 minutes. It's not as intense as you'd think. Actually when all the adrenaline kicks in, you feel kinda serene. It's awesome. Will do again.
for my godmother's 70th birthday she jumped out of a plane. the invitations said the party at her house would either be a wake or a bday party, either way, the booze was free. i love my godmother SO MUCH.
