Hormonal contraception: where synthetic hormones are used to temporarily stop the development of healthy, child-bearing sperm.
I'm going to have to go with no on this one, I'll stick to rubbers. Plus a male contraceptive would do nothing to reduce the chance of contracting an STD. I suppose if I was with a steady partner who I knew was clean, then I might consider taking such a pill.
I would never trust a man to take it properly. Women's bcp have to be taken at the same time every day to be the most effective. And since I'm the one going to be stuck pregnant, I'm not going to put that in someone else's hands. So in other words...men can take it if they want, but they are still wearing a condom.
Absolutely. No question...and I think my sex life would significantly improve. Unfortunately, not my mood.
hell yeah, if proven safe, but why not just vasectomy? The world's horrendously overpopulated. you can always adopt, you know. What's so special about YOUR genes, anyway? Yes, I'm sterile, no kids. Glad of it, rich because of it. Plenty to do, too. Women get off on the idea of being mommy. We have plenty of proof that THEY can't be trusted with the overpopulation issue!
I wouldn't take it because I wouldn't trust them to fuck up my swimmers in the long run. Woman's BC is just a input of a natural hormone their body produces when pregnant so it basically short circuits their reproductive system into thinking it is pregnant and not producing a viable egg. But there is no time when a man's junk is not making baby gravy so a male BC stopping the production of sperm is a unnatural process.
I have heard about Neem being used effectively as contraception for both sexes, but I haven't heard more than rumors. I agree with the other women, I'd still make the dude wear a condom along with my own BC pill. No chances taken here. The only advantage I'd see for men is a lower likelihood of a one-night-stand or angry ex coming back with a baby and wanting child support money. You should get a blood test before agreeing to pay, anytime, but you'd have some peace of mind.
