If any of you out there have (or have had) any clean time maybe you could provide some insight... When I got clean, my withdrawals slowly turned into a killer cold that lasted for a few weeks. After that I was probably healthy for like 4 or 5 months. Now that its starting to get cold around here, any little thing will get me sick. One night I was staying up late playing poker and drinking coffee, and the next day I was sick. Then, this last thursday I played a show out in boston, and it was the same situation, except it was freezing out. I can't remember when/if I have ever been sick two times so close to each other. I was thinking maybe my immune system isn't quite back to normal. Or maybe I'm just a pussy.
    Your thoughts?

I think it's just cold season man. Dope could have messed up your immune system for sure, but if you stay clean it should keep getting better, especially after this season. Never taken more than hydros myself, and I've got a slight cold.

Cold/fatigue doesn't REALLY get you sick of course, but it can be that last jenga block, and put too much strain on your immune system. Get enough sleep, fluid, and you should be fine.

Drugs in general do tend to reduce your immune abilities, if you smoke bud, it does suppress it, if you're having problems cut back a bit.

Yeah it definitely happens to everyone I know at the end of withdrawals. I'm at close to seven months though.. I was reading online today that endorphins actually help stimulate your immune system, which can explain why I never got sick while I was using, and it would only make sense that after a few years of daily use, my endorphins are not back to their normal levels.
