Don't do it at a concert your first time regardless of your age.

You're a junior, that means you're 14 right? You're only young and carefree once in your entire life; enjoy it, relish in it, take it all in, be stupid, make mistakes, screw around with girls (or guys if that's your preference), do those things you could only get away with in youth. You don't need a reality enhancement at that age.

And to tell you the 100% truth, LSD is a tool that can help people discover things, learn things, experience things, but ultimately the change and growth is up to the individual. Grow as a person first, then use drugs when you're older if you'd still like to. You have your whole life to experiment with drugs, but you only have another 5 years max left of those golden years you'll never get back. Enjoy them to the fullest.

Nah, I'm 17. Don't know if that makes much of a difference.

Fuck it man. Honestly, get your feet wet first, start by changing the way you see things and think about things, learn more about yourself, sober. Read a lot about it, people who used it, other drugs, etc.

You can do whatever you like, these are just my opinions.

Check out this book, it's one man's diary though 3 years of LSD use for the purpose of personal growth and psychological development. It's very decriptive and gives you a good feel for what the trip can be like.

But really, I'd start by learning to change your mind about things and trying to see things from another point of view. At least that way if and when you do use LSD the experience won't be so scary and shattering to your ego.

my friends all started taking copious amounts of mushrooms like sophmore year of highschool then we all started dropping acid junior year... lol :D

now that i'm a little older i can safely say that most other people are fucking braindead and those experiences lead to grow as a person beyond anything i could have possibly imagined, and lead me to places beyond my wildest dreams.

i agree with lunaverse though. if your going to try acid, do lots of research. erowid.org has alot of good information -- almost everything you need to know.

Thanks for the help guys. Greatly appreciate it. Just a final question to top things off: If you were in my shoes right now, would you do LSD before 2011?

LSD use is a very personal thing and one's personal situation as well as state of life in general should always be taken into consideration when using it, so no one else besides you could really answer that.

If you're in a good place in your life, no worries, no problems (don't use it period if you have mental problems), and you're relatively positive and happy then go ahead. The effects are temporary but the experience and the knowledge you gain can be permanent. You should try and have a sitter though if you do, someone you trust very much who will not fuck with you even as a joke and whatnot. Also, be and stay somewhere comfortable.

If you do decide to drop some, come back and give us a trip report :)

    Peace

In retrospect I don't mind having taken it, though I have made mistakes with the drug. Everybody is very different, so it's hard to say what it's going to do for anybody's personal life, hard to give any one ultimatum on what the outcome will be. Sometimes nothing happens, you trip and then your sober. You will always be you

However, my advice anyway is that moderation is truly key, and don't get too caught in a loop with the whole ego thing. Thinking about ego during a trip is like a cat eating it's tail.
