i had this last year though it was alot worse than this year, i dont know if its related to the cold weather or not i was fine in the summer, anyhoos the problem is sometimes if i've sat in the same position for a while when i get up i get a tingling straight down my spine and sometimes my legs, especially if i tilt my head forward though its not sore but quite uncomfortable it almost feels like a vibration going down my back or some kind of electric shock, last year when i got it when it was worse that sensation seemed to go right round my ribs and felt almost crushing, what do you guys think this could be?
what your feeling is a chakra, the electrical balances of the human body. Sitting in one place for long periods of time these become unaligned and build in one area.. This causes what layman call pain and numbness. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OkM1A-_Zyes"]YouTube - Subtle System Animation Man comes to doctor, says "Doc my arm hurts when I hold it this way" Doc said "dont hold it that way".... Doc also says get up move around.. lol, Im 40 plagued with all types of little pains in the ass.. If the best remedy isnt moving around, its resting in a different position.. when at a computer station seated( get up every 1/2 hour., stretch your arms up, down, shake out the limbs, squat, bend touch your toes, turn your neck left to right, up down, flap your arms like a bird.. you might look funny in the office, but youll be the healthy person with less back ailments..dont forget to breath..
Cheers Orison, its funny you mention about chakras, just last week i was looking on the net for prices of local reiki therapists i had reiki years ago and felt it was time for another session lol
i used to get it too, exactly how you describe it Chris. Lately though i'm on my feet most of the day and don't often sit in one place for a long time so it has basically stopped. I was going to suggest poor circulation or something because now the problem seems to have moved onto my arms and hands and to a lesser degree my feet... i wake up every morning with completely numb arms and hands or even if i'm just sitting down for a half hour or so especially at a computer, i just lose feeling and have to get up and move around to get the blood flowing again i guess. i would say my case is bad circulation but i think orison's explanation fits your problem better...
