So it's me and the gf's 1yr together on the 21st... I'm thinking of us going back up north for 2 nights and stay at a really nice suite on Lake Superior in Duluth.. and then just check out Duluth and the area.. and lounge in luxury....

i stayed in the doubletree i think thats downtown. the one that used to be a pizza factory. thats a cool place too, but im not sure how fancy the rooms get. it was a cool place though. like 15 foot ceilings throughout

 

$300 for 2 nights.. thats after all the taxes and fees... they are discounted cuz people don't wanna bare the cold

thats actually not too bad.. i was expecting a 2 night stay to run around 500$ based on the pics. totally forgot to take into account the fact that it is now winter and destinations with cold winters tend to lower prices for the season...

definitely an awesome anniversary/xmas gift.. what girl does not want to go on a romantic getaway with breathtaking views and a classy room for a weekend? can you say "panty dropper"... i take it you're already preparing for a sex marathon weekend?

i did something like this (not as nice a location but a very nice hotel with jacuzzi) and we had a fantastic time that night, but some shit came up and we broke up that night! but my point is when we got back together a few days later, she surprised me and rented that room again and we got to enjoy it properly my girl is like this too, we are a walking porno :drool5: im holding on tight lol

....Actually that thing does look pretty kick-ass.

 

so plans slightly changed.. we got to our room.. everything was fine and dandy.. went about doing our business for the day.. shopped around and whatnot.. then got back in time for the game and the TV sound didnt work.. so i went to the front desk.. the maintenance guy was gone for the day... so instead the upgraded us to the 3rd level of the 3 bedroom penthouse :afro:

2 32" LCDs.. jacuzzi room.. king bed... big leather couch.. and an amazing view...
