Does 2c-x give false positive for amphetamine?

Someone was trying to tell me it does and I don't believe them. Has any anyone gotten tested immediately following a 2c trip? My friend gets tested regularly and he's afraid to trip but he really wants to try some 2c-e. he says they send it to a lab so it's not one of those immediate result ones. I would hate to be responsible for him going to jail so I want to be absolutely sure he's safe trying it. Muchas gracias for any insight.

if they send it to a lab then there is no way it will come up as a false positive, the cheaper home test kits are the ones that often have false positives, the lab tests are much more accurate

I do not think so. But immunoassay screenings are so unreliable there isn't a real way to say with confidence what will and will not set one off. Thats why any reputable drug testing scheme will involve a second test using a GC/MS.

 

No. 2c's will not cause a positive result for amphetamine. Your friend is confused, phenethylamines are analogues of amphetamines. I don't know exactly how fast you metabolize 2c's but I know it's fast enough that you'd be in the clear within like 2 days anyway. Can't look up any proof right now but i'll post more when i'm on a regular computer...
