run one these out the window, give him some power for lamp, frigidaire, have a trip circuit so he cant pull more than 1000W, give him 2 days to have it restored, then cut the power... thats enough time..

12-6 rules didnt take place til the 1990's ... code that specifies how many outlets belong in 12sqft.. One should be placed every 6ft..
lamps and appliances are usually made with 6ft cords, this safety code is to eliminate extension cords... Dont always work around xmas time though....

6 slot receptacle.... dont buy the snap in one,,, buy the ones that can be screwed to the wallbox, cause if it comes loose then all 6 devices lose power..

 

We have a couple of those - nice solution. But for my computer and such I use a power strip with a surge protector.
