Yeah I'm pretty sure I've mentioned this before in my "fuck cds" thread. But FUCK CDs! If any of you fellow hipforumers have any cassettes they don't want I'd gladly buy them from you. Im currently looking for these bands: Temple of the Dog Flipper Nirvana Mad Season Mother Love Bone Radiohead Soundgarden Alice in Chains REM Pearl Jam Rage Against the Machine Pantera Smashing Pumpkins Dead Milkmen Bad Brains Mudhoney Pixies Stone Temple Pilots Melvins Green River So yeah! Thanks...
secondhand music shops generally have a lot for practically nothing. most of my cassettes got eaten by my truck's tape player.
nom noms.. I hate when I get one that wants to squeal.. as the tape is moving in the player (squeak ..)toss out window, I wonder what children think that it is, should they find it..
I have wee sing sing alongs Motown legends- I don't think I wanna sell it, it was my favorite. Mad about Violins Mozart:Eine kleine Nachtmusik Family folk festival Vivaldi:Concertos for wind
I have purple rain on cassette.. I used to have Sade but i accidentally sent it to the joker_man.. speaking of Im going to listen to her right now.
See the thing is, you'd have to find someone who's totally bonkers to want to sell most of those... and the other few are worthy of no more than the heel of my boot You have strange bi-polar taste, with some awesome and some complete suck. No offence. But mostly awesome. Remember back in the day, when "iTunes" meant waiting with your face jammed into the radio, waiting for the song you wanted for hours, to hit record, only to realize you had your tape rewound and just lost everything else?
What bands? Theres a 8 track player in the basement somewhere maybe I'll go down and get it sometime...
Nah! I’ve tossed out my entire cassette collection (and it was vast) in favor of CDs with a few exceptions Dust in the Wind by Kansas We Didn’t Start the Fire by Bill Joel Look Good by Johnny P Everything Gonna be Alright by Father MC Hotwater
I've found some serious shit at Goodwills here and there... I also still have a large cassette collection that I started when I used to steal my Aunt's tapes out of her room when I was 5. I have several tapes from the bands you mentioned, but I'm way too proud of my collection to ever sell any of them. So yeah, second hand stores and flea markets are your best bet.
Of the one's you listed I have: Temple of the Dog Nirvana Radiohead Soundgarden Alice in Chains REM Pearl Jam Rage Against the Machine Pantera Smashing Pumpkins Dead Milkmen Mudhoney Pixies Stone Temple Pilots
