Let me say this is really hard to explain for me but I think you may get it, if your lucky.

I think *most* opinions are complete bullshit to be honest with you. People state their p.o.v on most opinions like they will feel that way forever. They don't think of how a period of time may change their views on something. People argue over things they really dont feel either which way about, they are just backing the p.o.v that they feel for that day. It can be something as small as whether people would rather smoke out of a blunt or bong, or something like what drugs people consider "bad". People dont understand how little some opinions really matter. Opinions matter so little because you say so many all the time. You say so many that you never even recognize when you used to once feel different about the same subject.

    I dont knowwww:confused:

It all depends if a person bases their opinions on all the available facts or not...

Most people don't look at any facts for the basis of their opinions, so in general, you are right that most are bullshit.

Of course... that's just my opinion.

I once knew a guy who had an opinion on absolutely everything. You would ask him something and he would reel off a half an hour lecture on the topic, even though it was obvious he knew nothing about it. I would always test him by asking about obscure topics to see what kind of b.s. he would come up with.

The most underused and underrated phrase is "I don't know"

They are only classified as that when they are an opinion that is expressed by someone who is not you. :)

I think this is why moral backbone and moral flexibility are equally important.

You need the backbone to commit to the ideas that will truly effect you, keep you proud of yourself, defend loved ones and/or the most cherished ideals; but you have to have the flexibility to be able to conform when necessary, set aside the opinions that don't matter so much.

I think the average value of opinions really depends a lot on the person; but I find a lot of opinions on this site to be rubbish for sure

    This opinion is complete bullshit.

Well, from a statistical point of view, according to the thread title. I didn't actully read it, it was rather painful once I actully started reading your post.
