My taste in music varies wildely. When I'm shooting up I enjoy classical music (piano only, I don't like symphonies), club music (I love "Like a G6" or anything from Far East Movement), or just good ol' classic rock. But a staple for me is Russian music. The rap group AK-47 is great, my favourite song by them is "У щет". Also DDT is incredible, probably my favourite band. Не Стреляй , Это все, and Осенняя are incredible songs.
For me, if I know I am in nod territory with my dosage, I will usually pick an album to play, so I can just meditatively relax. My favorites are the mid-era Genesis albums (not the pop stuff, but not really prog stuff) like Duke or Trick. Other favorites are extended classical pieces. My favorite opioid composer is Paul Hindemith. His piano works are on the beautiful boundary between tonal and atonal. I also like nodding off to really minimalist jazz like Miles Davis' In A Silent Way. Fun stuff.

I've been posting this song all over the forums since I listened to it during a 2ce trip. It's perfect for psychedelics, but I imagine it would be amazing during a nod, as well. It just has that certain vibe to it, as does most of BRMC's music: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eejX7kX-mIw"]YouTube - Black Rebel Motocycle Club "Half-State"

I have made so many new favorite opioid songs since I got on Suboxone one week ago today. Most of them are jazz tunes and some longer Genesis songs. I have been really getting into the albums "Miles Smiles" by Miles Davis, and the first two songs on the "Wind and Wuthering" album by Genesis. For some reason, I like more edgy sounding stuff to nod off to and relax to in general, on Suboxone, compared to my old Drug Of Choice Tramadol.
St. Stephen by the Grateful Dead Under the Bridge by the chili peppers Castles made of sand by Jimi Hendrix Octopus's Garden by The Beadles Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen
Terry reid is great. I was hooked on southern/blues style rock, CCR, allman brothers, etc. My absolute favorite was lynyrd skynyrd - simple man , i don't know it always had that depressing vibe that went with my opiate use so well. Those days are long gone, but i still enjoy the song without opiates. In some weird kinda way i based a lot of my life on this song, good advice in there. If you have no idea what i am talkng about, then listen to it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFl0nlHaWa4"]YouTube - Lynyrd Skynyrd - Simple Man
Did you know Terry Reid was originally asked by Jimmy Page to sing for The Yardbirds, which later became Led Zeppelin? He already had a tour planned though, as an opening act, so he turned it down, then Robert Plant filled the slot because Terry Reid was unavailable. And yeah....Simple Man is the fuckin shizz. Probably my favorite Skynyrd song.
love the allman brothers and simple man is amazing. Currently drifting into outerspace to alice in chains- nutshell. Acoustic version https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3px0m1Y9Tuc"]YouTube - Alice In Chains - Nutshell - Unplugged - HD Video Lyrics in Closed Captions
