    No this is not a joke... Conservative fundamentalist preacher, Pat Robertson has called for the legalization of marijuana, at least in small amounts.

    Looks like the Pro-Cannabis lobby has been working overtime... Hooray!

    Now it's Obama's turn to come out and support cannabis! Keeping cannabis illegal does far more harm than the drug itself!

    But, but, Pat.... I thought all those young pot smoking sinners were going to HELL!

    Pat Robertson thinks the the sentences are too harsh for possessing small amounts of marijuana...and people still have to bash him.

    Might be worth keeping in mind that changing the "public perception" on mary jane legality is going to come with, as a matter of course, acceptance by those with whom we may otherwise disagree in terms of politics, relegion, or other things.

    Is there really a need to bash such folks when they do "come around" in their thinking in this? Save the bashing for other times. :)

    I was surprised and yes even happy when I first read this. But then I got to thinking about the other things that have come out of his mouth in the past. And it made me fell like these things make this statement kind of null and void. I do not personally like the man but his reasoning at least in this case makes sense and who knows maybe all of his followers if pushed might help with the cause and any help we can get is not a bad thing. I never thought I would ever agree with anything that came out of that man's mouth.
