I'm developing a huge tolerance to opiates because I've been using them more frequently than I had been. I'm trying to take a break for a week to see if it helps and every minute feels like years. I felt like I was almost there and then realized it's only been 2 days. How does anyone go through this hell.

If you are refering to withdrawals, then i feel for you bro. They suck and they also make the clock stand still. Your best bet is to look up here on the site whats called the withdrawal survivors guide. In it, are lots of things u can do to help ease through some of the symptoms to make it easier on you. Once u hit the 4-5 day mark you will feel a ton better, hope this helps.

Dude i dont know what opiates your on, but I was clean from morphine for 3 months..i was using 3000mg(3g) to get high..used this month and it took me 2500mg. Tolerance sticks around for awhile.

My advice, as an addiction remission through Suboxone, is that if you can get off them for a break, make that break permanent. Don't go back.
