truly we are living in the end times, or last days do point to the second coming of Jesus Christ the lord and saviour. many prophecies have been proven from the bible itself backing it up time and time again. prophetic writing from the likes of Daniel, Ezekiel, Jeremiah, Amos and John of Patmos, who down the revealations of Jesus Christ. for these are dark and troubling times, for we are and were pre warned for these things concerng these supposedly last days, so what do you think of this curreent situatin about the end times thank you God Bless:sunny:
Yeah, and every other fanatical believer in magic for the last two thousand years has been saying that.
What about the people living in Pompeii? , surely it was the end times for them in an instant.. Those that were living at Ground Zero Hiroshima, they were not of the christian religion. It was End times for them.. Each people has a tale of its doom to come. Some people die naturally before Doom even reaches...
thank you both for the reply, your insight is much appreciated, and yes people like myself have been saying this for 2000 years. thanks heaps rock on, God bless.
http://www.boston.com/bigpicture/2009/01/scenes_from_the_gaza_strip.html pictures of the Holy Land.. End of the world scenarios happen there on a daily basis. One day youre playing in grass with your toys, the next minute a Hellfire missile comes crashing on your home.. It will never end.
Very disturbing.... Also, I own and smoke pot out of the exact same gas mask that firefighter is wearing in picture 21. It's obselete.... They're using stuff that is hardly effective against tear gas.... Poor guys. Eternal end times, much?:sunny:
I get so sick of hearing stuff like this. "Oh no we are nearing the end, there are earthquakes, floods, and storms!!" Like there has never been any of those before? The only reason we hear so much about them now is because of mass, instant communication. Nobody knows when the Earth is going to croak. Jesus, if he was real didn't know. You don't know. I don't know. /rant
i'd think those prophesies are just local . it sure is quite the thing that Europe adopted their story as the Word , thus making it worldly Euro-centric . it even gets to me . i might sometimes muse upon the fall of the Twin towers as the Fall of Babylon . of course , without reggae lyrics i'd likely not think of Babylon at all . the nuke crisis is worst of all . it's evident . a curse upon those who would destroy the earth . oops , 'scuse the cussing . i guess it all ends well , tho . oh , why not . if from prophesy you think you know a bit then relax , because not-freakin should be rather the point of it . not going freakin'nuts could be our best hope . forget israel . itsa just a tiny people who wrote a book and if it weren't for bad luck they have no luck at all . rant .
Matthew 24:36"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 37As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 38For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; 39and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 40Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. 41Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left. 42"Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. Luke 12:40 You also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him "But of that day or hour, no one knows, neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Be watchful! Be alert! You do not know when the time will come." (Mark 13:32-33) It is certainly comforting to know that someone finally know when the end time is coming - Perhaps Jesus should ask you.
thank you Ddoright for the bible qoutes much needed it and God bless, it is true for when the Lord Jesus Christ come for we don't know the time nor hour of His arrival, for he will come like a thief in the night.
this more of the bible verses that i had forgotten about need i stress more about this thanks and God bless.
I was a bit snide with my last remark. I apoligize - I know you are seeking the truth - sometimes you must throw out what others say and seek the truth for yourself. God bless you - I see a servants heart from what I have read.
Earthquakes have remained constant but our awareness of them has increased because monitoring of earthquakes has improved. "A partial explanation may lie in the fact that in the last twenty years, we have definitely had an increase in the number of earthquakes we have been able to locate each year. This is because of the tremendous increase in the number of seismograph stations in the world and the many improvements in global communications. In 1931, there were about 350 stations operating in the world; today, there are more than 8,000 stations and the data now comes in rapidly from these stations by electronic mail, internet and satellite. This increase in the number of stations and the more timely receipt of data has allowed us and other seismological centers to locate earthquakes more rapidly and to locate many small earthquakes which were undetected in earlier years. The NEIC now locates about 20,000 earthquakes each year or approximately 50 per day. Also, because of the improvements in communications and the increased interest in the environment and natural disasters, the public now learns about more earthquakes." http://earthquake.usgs.gov/learn/topics/increase_in_earthquakes.php Imo, one of the key points of the prophecies spoken of by Jesus was partly that their would be an increased awareness of the number of earthquakes. Take for example the event in acts where the prophets spoke in tongues (meaning languages) and that the prophecy of joel was mentioned. That prophecy being that God would pour out his spirit upon all people. The event appears to be a prophecy of what would occur in the future. What occurred in the event was that people spoke of God through different languages, meaning the gospel would be spread throughout the earth. Add that to increased awareness and we can see a harmonization with biblical prophecy.
