I go with shorts. While speedos or thongs might expose more, Im more interested in feeling free. I find thongs to restraining. A pair of boxers are actually best when you can't go nude (assuming you have the same preference as me) because they aren't as heavy as swim trunks. Similar question to the girls, what's your preference on a beach when you can't be nude?
Hi, if accepted, i do prefer a light waistcloth (sorry, i don''t know the exact english term for. Like a pareo, but smaller), knotted or wrapped around my hips. Failing this i just use a simple black bikini bottom.
me and my friends like the feel of fresh fig leaf...here is us at wasaga beach in canada...wasaga beach is the worlds longest freshwater beach...i am the grey haired dude on the left
Well, bodypainting would be an alternative... for women, it could be a blossom instead of a fig leaf, as can be seen here: http://www.cirkuseros.nu/bildgallerier/galleri_bodyart/bilder/orkide_torso.gif Perhaps men could could have a fruit basket painted on them - with a banana sticking out... :smilielol5: Now, for answering the original question of the topic: I usually avoid textile beaches for not having my nude freedom restricted - if I am with people who might go to a textile beach, I have a pareo cloth/sarong type of cloth around my waist, which leaves my lower body bare underneath, and male parts as free as possible. Such items of clothing aren't made for women only, IMO. Wiggling bare toes, ~*Ganesha*~
I go with swim trunks. Boxers may fall off and you lose them and then you'll be the only bare one in a crowd of textiles. But the swimtrunks I use are light weight and do not have one of those pain in the ass inner-nettings. They dry out quickly too.
A pair of black Speedos is as much as I will wear on a textile beach. One size smaller than knickers, which is usual for swimming. Shows what's there but still leaves a little to the imagination! Boardshorts cladding many guys are the 21st century equivalent of the girdle. They are just gross and a swim/flotation hazard (people have been known to be dragged into rips by reams of fabric flapping around their legs constricting movement).
I wear the least allowed. Since there are no clothing optional beaches near where I live, almost all of my beach time in spent in a g-string on my local beach. I can't stand wearing more than a thong when swimming/sunning and will not go to a beach that makes me wear more. My vacations are to clothing optional beaches two or three times a year.
boxers are nice because they are light but things can work there way out the fly when least expected. Swim trunks when needed works for me
It is easy to forget how lucky some of us are to to live in a rural area where we can get away from the crowd and do whatever we want - within reason of course! Thank you for reminding me of that!
I live on a dead end road so around the pool is mostly nude and some areas of the yard. Nothing feels better than bare skin.
I am jealous! I have plenty of secluded private property where I don't need to worry about other people. It is great for laying out or taking a walk. It actually makes report reading and stacks of paperwork more enjoyable, but I don't have any water or sand. Nice idea with the towel, it is always a pain trying to carry everything I think I might want.
