What makes you uncomfortable when you are tripping?

For me it's definitely being around people who are not tripping. It's just such a strange vibe. Oh and I hate seeing cops when i'm tripping.

It seems every time i trip..A cop just has to roll by. Or this one time a whole bunch of ambulances were driving by to a house down the street..there were flashing lights an a few police everywhere.

When i'm tripping i'm always thinking the cops are out to get me or something lol. It's like they're watching me..

porn. drunk people. sober people. feeling cold.

also, having to use my phone for any reason.

 

machines, electricity (electric music), plastic, all but nature

 

a huge pet peeve of mine is when I'm in a group with other people and they'll constantly say things like "I am tripping SO hard right now, these visuals are SO fucked, shrooms (or whatever you're on) are so awesome man, I wish life was always like this" - like I mean yeah of course everyone does that as a newbie, but even most if not all of the experienced people I know will center the whole atmosphere of the trip on the basis that it's a drug and they're tripping; it's shooting yourself in the foot.

This mentality (holding the thought that you are tripping over what is actually apparent) is the only reason IMO for bad trips. Entering an overwhelming psychedelic headspace is the only form of truly being sober.

Of course on the flipside you could say that reminding someone in a bad trip that they're on a drug could help them get out of it which it could in some situations, but really it's all obviously a deep rooted underlying attatchment to what is familiar, ie the thought of being on a drug.

 

People who aren't down with the substance

 

I am completely with you on this one, nothing irritates me more than people who have tripped before constantly talking about how hard they are tripping, like no shit we just ate 5 hits of acid and railed 2c-p. What is more irritating is when people can't handle how hard they are tripping and keep asking you if you are tripping or not because you aren't acting like a fucking moron and why it is that you can form complete sentences right now.

 

When you need to go for a piss, the toilet is a dreadful place to go when tripping.

 

Being Around Cops or some form of authority. Assholes and I know this may be off-topic but I cant stand the feeling of nausea it's so uncomfortable.

 

Controlling a simple electronical device and finding out you don't remember how it works. Especially when you fuck up an (unsaved of course) playlist or something. I also had a bad encounter with a Wii. I swear it said the disc was inserted wrong and so I put it back in upside down although I knew somewhere that wasn't good either. Anyway, I just stay away from anything from phones to computers when I'm tripping next time.

 

yeah it sucks cause even though I have a decent selection of people I trip with, most of them go under this whole mentality of bragging that you're tripping. THere are a few that are not as immature (wouldn't brag bout it) but the problem is that they'll be like yeahhhh im so down to trip this weekend for sure but they will always always always procrastinate it.

I find it dumb too when all people will talk endlessly and endlessly after the weekend about how fucked up they got at some guys party to the point where it becomes apparent that they subconsciously adopt the "I need drugs to be cool" mentality.
