I was talking to a fellow whom I was playing cards with on the internet last nite and he had been drinking a form of green dragon that wasn't green it was more tan in colour. He said he had made it using trichromes instead of green cannabis. He said depending on the strength of the trichromes he'd put anywhere inbetween five to ten grams and let it soak for about a week. Because of the condition of his lungs he doesn't smoke anymore. He said that this was a great substitute. I'm just wondering, has anybody else here tried it? If you have, any suggestions?

never had it, but sounds awesome. makes sense about the color. if it's just trichomes (which can be amberish) then i can see it being tan. the "other" green dragon made with even just buds will have more plant material and therefore chlorophyll, giving it the green color.

anything that uses just trichomes is bound to be great

So you were just bragging and your post didn't have any relevancy to the question I was asking.

the good stuff is tan in colour as opposed to green. green means there is chlorophyll prestent. Ive made green dragon a few times and got varying results.

tips - use 150+ proof booze. It should be at least 70% alcohol/vol.
Use cold or frozen buds/crystals - less of the chloryphyll will be absorbed.
if using kief, there is no need to let it soak more than 3 days.
    Strain through a coffee filter.

I guess these people have got the idea of what you are talking about. I get it and I am in the process of trying this method. but the way they said to soak it for 3 days was different than what I was told to use the alcohol but mash it with stick of some sort for 3 minutes
pour into rice cooker on low keep doing this until you get very little and then put about 8 to 10 drops of water, it will boil, move the small amount into a small metal cotainer place on a coffee warmer (like in the office) let it boil on low until all moisture is gone and there is just oil, it wil be dark and you ingest it only about the amount the same size if a piece of rice. Video on rick simpson web site google that

I don't see why this wouldn't work. The colorado edibles scene has keef cola which uses an infusion of cannabis extract to make a nice medicinal soft drink. The exxxtreme one contains 3/4 a gram of extract. They don't taste bad either.

Well I finally had an opportunity to try making some green dragon using trichomes. It turned out quite good. The best thing about digesting green dragon is that you get the effects of it in about 5 or 10 minutes not like eating- when you have to wait at least an 1 1/2 hrs to find out if you have eaten enough. If anybody is interested, I am going to give you my recipe. Purchase a 26oz bottle of 100 proof vodka. Place 10 grams of trichomes into a funnel and place the funnel in a 40 oz bottle. Slowly pour the vodka into the funnel. the reason you need a larger bottle is because ten grams takes up a certain amount of space. After you've poured the vodka thru into the larger bottle put a cap on it and put it in a nice cool dark pllace. Invert the bottle to stir up the tricomes once daily. Do this for a period of 7-10 days. By then all the tricomes should be absorbed by the alcohol. Use a metal coffee filter and then strain the alcohol thru it into another bottle. Definitley take your time so that the filter will not get plugged up. You will definitely have some of the tricomes left which should just be vegetation. Place them in an absorbent cloth and try to dry them out as best as possible. Once they are dry, place them in a pipe and take a couple of hits. Hopefully you won't get any buzz at all. If this is the case: you have succeeded!! Congratulations ! If you do get a strong buzz you haven't let the tricomes soak long enough. Go thru the procedure again. Now you can try the green dragon or in this case the tan dragon. Try half an ounce to maybe an ounce--the best mix that I found was orange juice: l0parts:lpart .
