The New Zealand Air Force has just released its collection of UFO reports from 1954 to 2009. They say they don't have the resources to research and validate the reports. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/12/22/new-zealand-military-rele_n_800275.html
Well I'd sure love to see more stuff leaked as much as I'd like to meet an alien... (I believe I have already)
I was gonna respond to your OP by asking if you beleive aliens exist. I guess this answers my question. What you talkin bout?
I'm curious to know what your experience was Skip. There is a really cool UFO Observatory in the San Luis Valley in Colorado, a few miles south of Buena Vista. I personally believe that there MUST be some form of intelligent alien life and I do think they have visited Earth.
We might all have already met one and not even know it. The media instills on us that aliens are weird looking and possibly dangerous creatures but thats not necessarily true. I wouldnt be a bit suprised that when we do figure it or them out that they will be us from someplace else...
It does not surprise me that there are countries that would release such information. All over Europe countries are taking stands and releasing information that they would not normally. In my opinion this is happening because of the US, they were always looked up to, and now that there is so much shit against them with all the wikileaks stuff there are people that are willing to turn around and stay away from the plans of the US. Im not saying this is the perfect example, but when did the US gov. ever confirm any information about UFO's, they try to hide everything from the public hands.
