Depends on how you mean that... Would I like to be alive and in good health in 100 years? Hell yeah... Would I like to be 139 years old just waiting to drop dead?? no... lol
I posted that thinking how the world is and how its going to be. I figure if you got health you filthy rich. Well im not so fuck this.
100 years from now, the human race is dead, or spreading to other planets. I would like to be around to be part of that... just not as an old person... lol
In a hundred years, there'll be a whole new set of people on the earth. A few might make it if they're being born now. But of course they won't have a lick 'a sense.
I'd say if there is a giant head in the sky, he/she/it owes some heavy apologies for letting shit get clear out of control down/up here.
It's our own fault really. If we are heading towards the fall of man, and if there was a god, why should they intervene? We're not that special. They could just start a new race on this planet after we're gone.
Yea, it's called; -McDonalds -Alcohol -Cigarettes -Most drugs -Television -Facebook -Media -Shopping malls -Monster trucks -Madonna -Oprah -Fluoride
I'm pretty optimistic actually. My life is pretty fulfilling now. Some amount of the pleasure in my life is due to modern convinces. I doubt it's just an illusion created by the fluoride. I am concerned that places like Singapore and China will be leading the 21st centuries technological revolutions. But what happens, happens. I also think the North American countries should form a complete free trade union. One currency, no import/export taxes, relaxed immigration laws between NAU countries.
Not sure what that has to do with Terminator cops, but can we please stick to the main topic, thanks.......
If we actually get to the point where robots actually exist in a similar sense as we do, as have a job, the ability to think etc do you really think they will settle with being our bobby's? I wager they would try and take over the world, they would be more intelligent than us after all. And anyways, I don't personally think we'll ever se that kind of technology. The human brain is just something else.
I agree. And even if we had the technology, it's application would be limited for fear of such an event. As you said though, the brain (human in this case) is very special and very amazing and I just don't think that robots will ever be our "equal", intellectually/socially speaking. If anything perhaps they'll be crude droids like C-3PO.
