    Hi All,

I was curious if anyone had information on possible non-profits in Latin America? I'm a university senior graduating in May and desperate to get to L.A. somehow. I've been speaking Spanish for 8 years and am highly interested in sustainable development, and working with rural communities.

Any ideas or bits of information would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you muchisimo

Please check out amazonpromise.com, I've volunteered with them since 1994. They work out of Iquitos Peru bringing western medicine together with Shamanistic medicine treating people in remote villages. They are an excellent, honest hardworking group of people. I so fell in love with Peru and its people that I ended up living there for a while. I've made 25 trips back to Peru and adopted my two youngest sons from there. This past summer my sons and I returned home to Peru where one of my sons worked as a nurse in the same clinic where he was seen as a child.
