it's easily found in almost all gyms as ephedrine hydrochloride, and can be brought bulk from India or china using buyer to buyer retailers, look under slimming pills and steroids. No-one makes it, the chemicals you have to buy to extract and build the molecule cost more than the going rate buy, but you could extract it from ma huang with chloroform and ether if you know your extracts.
fermentation of benzaldehyde. benzaldehyde can be made by oxidation of toluene. I've been told you can do this with non clorine pool shock but haven't tried it. I know electro-catalytic oxidation works but it's not easy and the chems used are the kind you could use to make explosives so it's not a good route to go. you can also distill bitter almond oil which is 95% benzaldehyde and almond flavoring from the grocery store is usually about 50% bitter almond oil. go buy secrets of clandestine meth manufacture by uncle fester... it's a good read.
Fester is a joke in the industry, just a good publicist, avoid this book and anything else he wrote imho.

do u know the common dosage to start from? just search 'how to extract ephe from medicines. U'll need BB drugs only if you want to produce large quantities, otherwise, just buy some antistamines, which work great. Anyway, extracting ephe (or pseudo-ephe) is the first step of the meth production, so u should not have any issues finding it. if u don't find anything, PM me (@Anonimo NOT Hirondelle) and i'll send u the whole micowave (the easiest) process.
This yields the p2p analog which gives ephedrine upon reductive amination, not ephedrine itself. If you are able to do this then you would be better off making meth from p2p, rather than reducing ephedrine.
