are there specific types of hash?

a friend hooked me up with this giant rock of hash and its retarded... like i cant speak:// anywho i was wondering if there were different kinds. its like a really sandy yellow color. ive never seen heroin, but when you break a chunk off im pretty sure it looks like that. it tastes and smells like great pot so im not sure how it wwould be something differnt... ramble shesh, simple question. tenk youu

 

yeah hash comes in all sorts of colors.. depending on type of extraction.. or how it was processed.. yellow has is often known as Blonde hash.. there is "Soap Bar" hash which is low quality crap... usually looks like shit too.. most of the hash i see around here is made by locals.. and its rare to see it.. but its either just compressed and a dark green.. no blonde hash has ever come around these parts

Generally cut hash is a european thing, because it's smuggled in, instead of grown locally. In the US, you may find low grade,but usually not cut with other fillers, in most regions. It will also be more expensive and a specialty item here, while in other places it may be more common than strait bud, either because of low quality mass grown plants, or because of ease of smuggling and a lack of local growing.

Hash can be blond, black, greenish, tan, depends on the purity and method of manufacture. It can even be an oil or gel.
