    Home Grown

I bought one from Alana at Home Grown through etsy a few months back, she has amazing customer service, she made me a custom tam with the exact colours I wanted and was really patient with my decisions. I HIGHLY recommend her! :D

I can crochet but have never made a tam before. I could try, but if you're overseas the postage will be an arse. How much were you willing to spend?

They do look like very friendly people who are willing to work with you, and have 100% positive feedback on 207 people... If that says anything....

Support the right people, and think how long it takes to make those and do a nice job, and how much they're making per hour at pretty (honestly) boring work.... All to bring you a cozy, cheerful hat, full o' good vibes....

You have to pay a little bit extra for the love crocheted into the tam

yeah i'm probably just gonna bite the bullet and get one from her, i haven't been able to find anything good anywhere else. so many decisions to make on it though, color scheme, size, material. still no idea what colors i want, and as far as size i gotta find a balance between it being too loose and it being small enough that my hair will outgrow it shortly.

kinda tempted to learn how to do it myself, but i'd probably suck at it, and my housemates would probably find it hilarious to watch me crocheting

Thank you to everyone who backed me up! I love mine and it only cost me $27AUD. That included the month of correspondence with her about what colours and patterns I wanted.

    She is amazing!
