Usually if you are at a boarding school, you are on the schools property.

Its not like they just let you leave to go smoke weed whenever you want.

Boarding school can mean a lot of different things.

Some are completely laid back-some are not. They are going to pick it so use your imagination-

Some of them utilize a military style operation. Your will have to conform to the unity of a group. They will have very strict rules to follow. Others operate on a more therapeutic approach. Other boarding schools also have specialized programs if a specific issue that needs to be addressed.

Pretty strict, we didn't go out during the week. There was everything we needed within the grounds and at weekends it all depended on what year you were in.

It always amazed me how parents could just ship their kids off because they "can't handle them." The only reason parents feel that way is because of an inadequacy on their behalf. Lack of education on drugs, lack of patience, lack of parenting skills, etc.

Any private school can, for any reason, if you don't like it you can leave lol, though most private schools still don't as it is just too expensive to be testing a bunch of kids

My catholic high school started "random" testing last year, they have a deal with Rosecrance though and actually get a kick back for anybody they send there, not to mention if you're caught you HAVE to go to the $1500 outpatient therapy or get kicked out of school lol, that was the fucked up part.

THIS, I would stop smoking weed immediately and starting sucking the Lord's Holy Shaft asap if I were to be subjected to Wilderness therapy, fuck that shit. One of my friends got sent there, though he was a real fuckwad and kinda deserved it, but shit he was never the same when he got back. If anything it was counter-productive for him, as he came back and was just so pissed off that he was at Wilderness for 2 months that he ended up taking twice as many drugs and stealing twice as much shit.

But yeah, any kid that steals $175 a week at LEAST from his mom's bank account to buy drugs deserves it, though I just always put that fact in the back of my mind as I was smoking with him as he always smoked ridiculous amounts of weed with people for free since he didn't pay anything for it himself.

They are not really strict. They just have to discipline you to become a good student. For instance your desire is smoking, obviously they would let you quit it. I mean you're not allowed to smoke in the area. Most boarding schools have youth programs which may be interesting to you so you might want to involve in it.
