Gee...just imagine how that's going to look in another 12 to 24 hours (I'm in Connecticut, too). This is how it was for me, late Friday evening here.
Half the people in the state right now are going "OMG......it's going to snow..........in New England.........WE NEED MILK AND BREAD" Also fun fact, despite how awesome the wilderness seems in my picture I actually live in a pretty well populated area, there's just a large drop off in our backyard to the street below, so the tree line at the top has the illusion of being a large wooded area.
I know exactly what you mean. My brother works for a supermarket. It's a scheduled day off for him and he said he will NOT come in if he gets called.
It's amazing that you can see the roads...when it snows here, they hardly ever do anything to the roads (except the highway through town), and when they do, it sucks, because they bury your car in your driveway.
