Hi, I got my lobe pierced on Saturday (was bored) and I've been using salt water on it and using savlon antiseptic spray, but as of today my lobe has been swelling, the problem is that the stud is quite small and I don't want my lobe to grow over the top of the earring. Thanks in advance.

I was allergic to the sea salt, and just about anything else. I had to ignore my piercer and use alcohol on it, it was swelling and oozing so bad. Sometimes that's all you can do. Just try not to get it all over the nearby skin.

For the swelling, I held cold soda cans on it a lot. It cooled the area and brought it down. You might also get a little bottle of Dial soap, to wash it with in the shower. It does wonders for the healing process.
