So as anyone living along the US coasts knows or will know shortly, snow is falling everywhere. Atlanta is a mess, D.C. is a mess, NYC and Boston are about to be a mess. So let's make with the snow pics. We're supposed to get between 9-13 inches in my area of the state starting in a few hours. It's also going to fall on snow that's still left over from the last two snow falls. http://www.hipforums.com/newforums/showthread.php?t=417843&f=68 Those pics I took this morning, so essentially that snow, plus another foot. It hasn't started snowing here yet so I gots no pics.
it's been snowing for a few days here, but i'm not on the east coast, so i'm not allowed to post. also i'm too lazy to get up and take a picture.
I will thank you to keep the snow please, while we could use the precipitation, our area does not get enough snow to have decent snow plans (like getting the roads cleared in a timely fashion) and no one out here knows how to drive in snow. When it snows here, it's like an apocalypse.
^^Sounds like PA anyway regardless of how many snowy centuries go by I'm waiting for the lightning! I heard there would be some lightning as well?
Lightning snow storms are awesome! I was in one once while driving down the freeway. I'm not on the east coast, but it's snowing here big time. (near Seattle)
Haha wow, I bet that was a sight. I thought for a minute the lightning had started, but it turned out to just be snow plows and their flashers outside reflecting off the windows hahaha
I'm in the east - and my state is on the coast...and we do have a bunch of snow...barely melted today, and it's expected to still be too bad for ppl to be expected to get out tomorrow. Even the Hwy Dept around here wasn't prepared for all this, as reported on our local news. lol I would post some pics but I'm a retard on that...I considered myself "savy" (haha) when I figured how to e-mail pics! but anyway, us southerners are NOT prepared for this; and you won't see even my dumb ass on the roads until they are ok - no black-ice, etc.
By barely melted I should've said what would have melted turned into ice on top of the snow this afternoon.
This time around it was that heavy wet snow that brings down trees and power lines and gives old duffers heart attacks from Maine to Connecticut Hotwater
I got out of work at 11pm last night- hours shifted back two hours temporarily for training purposes... there was zero snow falling when I left work and for the entire drive home. Backed into my space, parked, and noticed some bits of moisture on my windshield and as I exited my car it began snowing. Within an hour two inches had fallen. I figured we were in for it. Work closed today- first time for that!
