okay. im not sure if its the problem or it just made me realize it but the first time i smoked weed it kicked in. I never feel like im here. I mean i know im here. my body is here. I interact with people but Its like a dream and the only time i realize it is when something bad or exciting happens. sometimes i can just be sitting there and i come into realization of what has been going on. Another thing i think is connected with it is that sometimes things look animated. the whole thing is like sleep walking. can anyone tell me what this could be?

At 16 there are still lots of naturally occuring changes in the body/mind. I would lay off smoking for a period of time to see if it changes or clears up. If it continues to be a problem you might want to talk to someone about how its affecting you. It might not be the smoke but I think you would be wise to wait a while anyway just to give your own developmental needs a chance to sort out. OK yeah, thats Dad talk but still...

Sounds like depersonalization, I've had that dream like state for me it is a real disconnected feeling, as if I am watching my body move and hear myself talk but it does not feel as if it is me.

I've been feeling like this lately too. Not after smoking though. After too much acid...Did you ever feel like this before smoking?? Do you still smoke???

I've had that happen a lot to me. Feelings of floating. Not being wholly present. Watching what's going on as though I'm behind glass or viewing a movie. Hearing my voice but it sounds distant and foreign.

    Weird stuff.

Sounds to me like the persisting fuzzyness after you smoke, the OP is just still stoned for some time after smoking, and doesn't seem to have stopped smoking. After you've been toking for a while it stops.

Could also be minor depersonilization or something. Or a combination.

Give smoking a rest if you find it unplesant.

I can relate, even when I'm not smoking I'll just go through times where I feel high as fuck... lol "weed flashbacks" it's probably not what it is. but lately I always feel like stuck in "high mode".
