Amy Milan has a really great voice and Stars is a pretty dope band. The interplay between her and the male singer is definitely one of the best parts of the band. She also plays with Broken Social Scene some, another really cool Canadian band.

Brooke Miller is another Canadian. She's married to the guitar god Don Ross (who helped produce both of her albums) and she has got incredible chops on guitar in her own right. More importantly, she's a great songwriter and her voice is fantastic. Her newest CD is amazing. Check out the instrumental Shake It Off but here is a sample of her vocals.

Lori Mckenna is also great. She played my uncle's wedding when I was about 10 or 11 and it was unreal. Couldn't find a video of her playing this song, but the lyrics and vocals are great.
