Forgotten Love. Forgotton love, forget not the night. Nor the shadows, and not by slight; The upbringing of this damnnation, which has come upon us, through reckless creation. Forgotten love, Hang upon the hold of doom How treatening, the end had come too soon. Pondering the work of doubt? And how close our finish, to an unheard shout. Forgotten love, Sleep well into wake, For remembering the untold slumber, We would remain then far too late. Hence then no worry about an unclean break. Forgotten love, Leave no trace, Of the memories made in such a afflicted place, Think not of unwanted hesitation, Caused by long deflated times of elevation. Forgotten love, will you charish no other, A love not unlike a wound; No cure, can't recover. Slowly and gradually, You grasp the hurt of mortality. Forgotten love, because I cannot remember A time, a place, more of a forbidden splendor. And if you were to come to mind, I wouldn't mind, or would I just bind myself Now, just to think of someone else? Forgotten love, as it is a contradiction. Loving now, live by mere prediction. But in the back of my head, Just, reminding me of us, my eyes rimmed in red. But today, im okay. Another in my bed. By: BrootalHankie. I like to write.. just wondering what everyone may think of my poetry.
