Tomorrow I plan to wake up around 7 or 8 and drop. I haven't decided on the dosage yet, and I tend to make that decision rather spontaneously. It's pretty dreary out today, all slushy from the rain mixing with the snow. There is supposed to be light snow all night and tomorrow is supposed to be a nice winter day. I intend this to be my last trip for a couple weeks or months at least. Here is my typical routine and a general outline of what I plan on doing tomorrow.

Wake up and drop around 7 or 8.
    Light breakfast and tea.
Long walk out in the woods with the pup, should be back by 10.

Here's where I'd like some suggestions. All of my recent trips have involved me playing guitar rather aimlessly and listening to tons of music. I love doing both of these things, but I'd like to break out of this routine for tomorrow at least. I keep telling myself to write something, or draw something, or write a new song, but whenever I try to do so I find my thoughts too scattered to focus on the task at hand. I find my trip ending with nothing tangible to look back on.

I generally take a second walk in a different part of the woods around 3 or 4, catching the sunset out in the woods before walking home as it gets dark.

Any sort of suggestions are welcome. Just trying to maybe break out of this routine or find a way to be a little more productive. Any sort of books, movies, albums, activities you would recommend. I've been intending to try some yoga during a trip, but I've never had any experience with it before, so any insight on that would be cool haha. I'm also unsure if I am going to smoke tomorrow. I have enough weed to smoke and I picked up a blunt, and this bag is to be my last for a while. I've been enjoying the clearheadedness of not smoking and I've only dosed without weed a few times. Thinking it might be nice to save a blunt for the second walk to kick things back into action.

Thanks for any help you guys might be able to share. I'll try to write some things down throughout the day so as to write up a report.

I was going to say epic 80's music, and then you said no music..:( lol...
Drawing is cool actually, just doodle, then maybe pic a specific object, but i just doodle,

I would save the pot, especially if its your last for awhile.

    -Fast instead of breakfast
-videogames (may run into the scattered thoughts thing)
-play along with songs opposed to trying to write them.
    -walk to a different spot
-meditation (really just try to get your body in alignment, relax and if possible forget your thoughts. Can be amazing on lsd just get the body aligned tho)
    -le sex

I'm definitely down for some music suggestions. I always find myself discovering new music that I like with each trip so definitely post some of the stuff you were thinking. I think I'll get some markers and junk out and doodle while I listen to some new tunes.

I'm actually looking forward to not smoking for a while. I had been smoking a ton every day and recently I stopped for two weeks and it felt great so I'm kind of excited to finish what I've got and call it quits, or at least slow down a lot, for most of the spring. But I feel like it might be nice to have one last big hashy blunt to kick off the tolerance break. I think I'm convincing myself right now lol

Actually the epic 80's music was more of a joke really, a lot of people refer to 80's music as epic, and you wanted to have an epic day so.. I am not a comedian:D

I am not really into the trance/psychedelic style music, Recently my favorite thing to listen to is instrumental music(not computer generated though).. I like East Of The Wall alot, especially when doing things like drawing because there are no lyrics to distract me. The album farmers almanac is really good and i like it when i am tripping. I'll post a song just so you don't have to search to see if you like it or not. I think you'll like it being a musician, maybe not though.

Some people find their music too "busy" for them while tripping.

Yea i have been smoking too much recently, atleast twice a day. Its starting to affect my motivation and i got a lot of shit I need to do before spring gets here.

I really dig just about everything but most of what I listen to is hip-hop. Probably because there's a little taste of all kinds of genres in hip-hop. When I'm tripping I tend to stray from Big L, N.W.A., Big Pun, etc. I love those dudes to death but when I'm tripping gangster rap isn't usually what I'm in the mood for.

Some of my most-played artists are Dinosaur Jr., Nujabes, Madlib, Dilla, Pavement, MF Doom, Boards of Canada, Talking Heads, Andrew Bird, Aphex Twin, Bibio, Flying Lotus, Don Ross (just about anything off the candy rat label is fucking great), Gang Starr, Chet Atkins, Jimi, John Prine, Taj Mahal, Pretty Lights, lots of jazz, anything from the Doomtree crew or from the Seattle or Minneapolis hip-hop scenes.

I'll listen to anything if its good music. List any albums, artists, and songs you like. That comment about 80's music has me jamming out to The The's "This Is The Day". Definitely gonna throw that song on tomorrow.

The only rap I ever truly enjoy tripping is Bone thugz n harmony

You may enjoy some some trip hop, its usually more singing and alot of its slower and droning.

    Massive Attack-Mezzanine
    Portishead-Dummy
    Gorillaz 1st album

Drum n bass often has emcees but alot of it is instrumental, I'm by no means really knowledgeable about many drum n bass/jungle but:

Aphrodite (Remix of Fugees 'rEady or not' is too sick)
    Ltj Bukem
    Ak1200
    Dieselboy
    Goldie

    Is worth checking out.

Great bluesy style rock, terry reid's Seeds of Memory, if i didn't know any better i would swear he was from the southern united states early 60's scene.

I know you don't know me, i just wanted to add my 2 cents because LSD isnt one of those things that should ever become routine :p haha

i def agree with the suggestions about drawing. you said you want something tangible after all is said and done, one way to immortalize exactly what/how you were seeing at the time is to take something completely uninteresting when you're in your right mind and draw it after you drop. really let your imagination run wild!

i'm sensing that many of the activities you do are solo? when was the last time you and a close friend or 2 went on some kind of adventure? i found myself craving human interaction whenever i dropped, and it can be so much more fulfilling when you have other people to trip over and thoughts to bounce off.

you may be a much less childish tripper than I, but nearly indetectible mischief is always a good time too. heehee!
hope you have a good time, whatever you do. enjoy your many tunes!

oh and recipe for an epic day:
close eyes and lay down with large headphones attached to head
have a playlist of what you think will really let your mind go
listen for a long enought time or make the playlist roughly an hour or 2 while u come up
open your eyes and go outside
    :D
