I checked the pop-up blocker I checked the firewall This stupid thing still won't allow me to give out reputation points/comments . I think it hates me. No, I KNOW it hates me! It won't let me: give out reps (the screen freezes and the box will not even open) open anything in a new window click on links download a thing Not to mention that it constantly freezes and we are still pondering how the sound card was deleted. I ran the virus scanner and either that freezes and will not respond, or says everything is fine (and yes, that virus scanner is updated frequently). If I have to reinstall windows one more time, then the people at Dell better live in fear.
In fact, if I even click on the balance, the screen freezes... Does the same for clicking on links and opening certain things on certain pages
sytem restore back to the last time you know it worked. you didnt happen to download the hotmail photo-uploader program did you?
well I had many similar symptoms and then thursday the virus scan stopped and the fire wall would not open, the only thing working was the icon for the firewall, so i system restored a back a month. My troubles started after that darn picture uploader got installed. ctrl/alt/delete and see what your perfrmance is, it sounds like its maxxed. if it is you need to look at the processes and see which programs are eating up unusually large amounts of your processing.
