A friend is selling me his Magic Flight Launch Box(MFLB) for 50$, used of coarse.

I was wondering if people thought this is a decent price? It is usually priced at around 100$.

It has been used for around two months and I was hoping someone might have experience with proper cleaning of this device?

    It's looking a little rez'd up.

i've never used a vap before excluding this one. It works well enough, just takes a little longer to feel full effects I find.

^^ unfortunately the magic flight launch box is electronic so soaking it in alcohol may not be too smart

as long as there's no current. alcohol evaporates fast, and I'm not exactly advocating submersion in alcohol...

    ooh! q-tips are the answer!

The MFLB is a worthy investment. I absolutely love mine and have no doubt this is the absolute best, most economical portable vaporizer on the market. The worst part about it is the batteries, which wear out after time. It's hard to find the kind of batteries that come with the MFLB (Sanyo rechargeable Eneloop batteries) at most stores, so if anyone could let me know what some good alternatives in the rechargeable battery realm are, that would be most graciously appreciated. I have not used my MFLB in months because the batteries I have are dead and I still have not gotten new ones. You can get MFLB-ready replacement batteries on eBay, but they're a total ripoff! People are charging like $15 for two batteries, which is ridiculous.

Best batts for the MFLB are Powerex2700.. 2400's come with the box.. but the 2700s produce a steadier amount of power... you can get a pack for 4 on amazon for $12..(they honestly do make a big and better difference than the stock batts that come with the mflb)

As for cleaning.. you want to be very careful.. the only part of the mflb that can and should be cleaned is the trench(screen) and the stem if you use it.. for the trench.. take a Q-tip and dip it in iso alcohol.. LIGHTLY brush the screen with your q-tip until clean... then insert battery and run dry for about 20-30sec.. smoke will come off the screen burning off any remaining alcohol...

PS: NEVER EVER SOAK YOUR MFLB IN ALCOHOL OR ANY OTHER CLEANING PRODUCT

its electronic in the fact that a AA battery makes a connection to a piece of wire.. which when electricity runs through it makes the wire heat up... which is attached to the trench.. which then heats up.. pretty simple science.. the reason you should not soak the mflb is more obvious.. its WOOD
