Golden Globes and the corrupt awards

The only person I lead is myself. I certainly don't want to be a leader and I certainly don't want to be a leader of sheep. If I started leading sheep, there is no doubt in my mind that inside of a year I would become just like all the other assholes screwing over humanity and this world.
So let me make this clear for you,

You got to stop looking for someone to tell you "how" to think and learn how to do it for yourself.
You got to stop looking for a leader and start being your own leader.

Life is neither a fucking dress rehearsal nor is it something that just happens between birth and death. And none of us know what happens after we die. Therefore, we are all required to take responsiblity for our own lives. Just like the expression, "If it's to be. It's up to me." So when you see or hear of something you know is wrong. Do something about it.

Even if you don't want to accept the fact that your brain is just like a muscle in many ways. If you fail to exercise it, it will turn to flab. So if you find yourself not able to know when something is either right or wrong. Then you have obviously allowed your brain to go flabby and perhaps even get fat and lazy.

In the United States there is close to 300 million or more people that suffer from "can't-use-their-brain-and-think-for-themselves" syndrome.

And here I always thought that sheep used commercial breaks to get something from the refridgerator or go to the bathroom. But it appears they also spend some of that time dreaming up new comments and excuses for doing nothing.

Love and Laughter is established as being full of himself. I'm not exactly sure how wanting to motivate a bunch of lazy and dumb manipulated shmucks constitutes being "full of myself." But it rolls off the toungue nicely and one excuse is just as good as any other.

But for future reference,

Corrupt award organizations are not cause to become militant and throw bricks... they are cause to shut off the fucking television and use that sudden surplus of time on more constructive pursuits....

It is not your job to awaken the herd residing in the country to your south- that you would willingly assume some of the responsibility that is not yours is laudable but your methods belie the benevolent motivations you claim. Surely someone as wise as you presumably are could read the irony of a topic about corruption in an award process for actors being initiated by an individual who derides the collective laziness and inattention of a people whose government enjoys a level of systemic corruption that will likely call for the dismantling of that government system as the best chance of dealing with the level of graft that has moved actual government function out of the hands of the very people who are paying for it not only in their taxes but also in lost reputation in the estimation those who live outside our borders- including from countries who have been our strongest allies.

...and I'm supposed to give a flying fuck about the Golden Globe awards? HELL no- in fact, I hope the corruption in elitist Hollywood becomes so blatant that more people boycott the products of the film industry and use that time to begin to research what their government is doing and begin to comprehend what it means... and more importantly to become motivated enough to ACT.

Now goddamn it- I've spent two whole fucking commercial breaks writing this- can't we all just agree that I'm right so I can get back to my program?

You can't expect people to accept your ideas and opinions, nor can you force them to.

Real change comes from the inside, not the outside. Some guy banging on the window isn't going to get people to turn their tvs off. If anything they'll turn them up to drowned the person out.

Give someone an idea and they may take it and turn it into an opportunity to change their mind, that is up to them.

Belittle a person for their current views and they're more than likely to never accept an idea from you and may also be hesitant to accept an idea from anyone else ever again.

There is a great book called, "His master's voice" by David Nulis.
I read it 10 years ago and it details the connection between the entertainment "story telling" industry and government manipulation. The author documents, in a very verifiable and scientific way, of how needed money and channels of distribution have been used to forge an un-holy aliance with "story tellers." This dates all the way back to the time of kings and travelling bards when food, lodging and safe transit papers were given to bards in exchange for "good stories that flattered the sovern."

I should also note that in his last chapter he explains why governments detest the uncontrolable nature of music. It probably explains why the music of today is so.. "canned pop."

Another good text to read is " A study in the construction of reality" by Gaye Tuchman. (I actually have the isbn on this one 0-02-932960-4) In the first chapter conclusively demantles the myth that the "news" shapes and forms public opinions. When it truth it is only a "window" on what is happening. And how the public reacts to what they see when looking through that window depends on how their perspective was shaped by the television/movie industry. A good example of this is the puppy toss video caused public outrage whereas, the average american only felt embarassed over Abu Ghraib prison and Iraqi civilian killings.


So in conclusion,
We're fighting what can only be compared to the multi-headed beast of mythology. We've got to cut off all the heads or else it just keeps coming back stronger each time.

I hate to tell you this.
But in the 5 years of my "militance" I've tried everything from empowering to blowing sunshine up the asses of people. It don't fucking work.

When you empower people, what you get a bunch of "vampires" that talk alot but do nothing. Their goal becomes a social one instead of persuit of the actual objectives.

When you go the next step further and blow sunshine up the asses of people. All you tend to attract is the most lazy fucks on the face of the earth that love having their asses kissed.

However you're right. You can't change or convience everyone.

But if you mock, ridicule and belittle the dumb lazy sheep. Then the sheep start to serve a puprpose.
Have you ever heard that saying, "do a good job and someone might tell 5 people. But if you piss them off, they'll tell 500" ? It works just like that. And in some cases it also works like an old housewife nagging at her husband to fix something. Sooner or later, they'll do what you want them to do just to get the bitch off their ass.

My biggest problem is how I often find myself "thinking like the establishment." What I'm saying is I find myself constantly having to check myself because I can really see how the world's elites view the mass populace as some sort of sub-human species. It's difficult to remain empathetic to something that's only purpose in life is to eat sleep, shit and update their facebook status.

"People" that is "humanbeings" don't sit around don't sit around watching other humanbeings betting slaughtered, tortured, or allow toxic waste to be dumped in the enviroment.

Sorry but savage animals do that. Not civilised humanbeings.
