Ok... so SWIM recieved a phone call from a friend of his. Appearently swim's friend was caught smoking a bowl in his truck outside his work one day by a cop. He was caught with a ounce of bud, a scale , pipe and 15 gelcaps with 2c-e. Swims friend was charged with posession for the pot and pieces. Swim was also told that they tested the 2c-e with evry field test in the cops lil box and of course... it passed. Once he was taken to the station they asked him repeately what the chemical was. he finally (like a douche bag) broke down and told them it was 2c-e. Police are trying to charge swims friend with a felony of a controlled substance. Swims question is... if he sold it to his friend, can anything happen to SWIM for doing so?

from my knowledge... if he did not tell them they were being used for HUMAN CONSUMPTION then he might have a chance but... you know courts like to make a example out of retards that sit in the vehicle outside his/her work place smoking pot with a scale and a bowl not to mention a large amount of weed.... but i hope everything comes out alright.... for swim... im not sure what can happen. anyone have a idea? I do know that he will most likely get probation for a few years if it is his first offense.

if it wasnt capped, he would probably be able to get away with no charge. but since its capsulated, that kinda indicates human consumption. If he has a good lawyer he might get away with it so long as he hasnt admitted to consuming it, nor selling it for consumption.. doesnt your friend know about the fifth amendment?

i believe the owner of the 2ce will be fine with a good lawer (not a court apointed one!) but still not sure about the person that SOLD the chem to him...

i feel you. but the experience i have with court appointed lawers was epic fail. Butthen i was in a small ass town and learned that the lawer and the judge knew eah other... I am keeping a eye on this post. I would like to know if the seller could get into trouble as well. Because i have sold 2ce before and would hate to find that i can get into trouble even tho i have clearly statedto the purchaser that it is not for human consumption

Well, so long as you have always stated it was not for human consumption, then I see no reason you would have anything to worry about. Give the federal analog act a read if you really wanna get the gist of what youve gotta do to protect your rights as a research chemical supplier.

shoulda just not named the chem, a buddy of mine just got a felony possession charge dropped after being caught with a gram of Ketamine. They asked what it was over and over and he said idk over and over till eventually the charge was dropped cus its time in the lab ran out...and thats Ketamine not some unheard of RC.

Moral: No need to self incriminate, if they can figure out what it is they will despite you. If they cnt figure it out, lucky you
Edit: Important Note! Dnt be a dick

from what i know ive spoke with a family lawyer about this as i used to sell research chemicals to some friends who didnt want to order. if there capped your selling for human consumption an you will get a charge so most likely he will get the charge but if he gets a good lawer he may get away with it.

Most likely the charge will get dropped when they figure out for sure what it is. It would help to know what state, federal analog laws are not applicable if (as I assume) he's charged in state court. Most likely he'll have to plea to the pot.

I know one guy personally who got caught with an RC (5meo-mipt IIRC), he was charged with posession of controlled substance, which was reduced to "presenting non-controlled substance as controlled" which is a misdemeanor here. Then it got dropped completely after he got caught with a meth lab.

This shouldn't even need to be said. "NEVER EVER EVER EVER TALK TO COPS!!!! You don't have to say anything to them AT ALL. Why are people so stupid?

Your name and social security number if they ask.

Norml actually used to have cards that you would hand to an officer that explain that you know your rights and you are exercising your fifth amendment.

    EDIT: found it:http://www.norml.org/pdf_files/freedom_card.pdf

they probably wont focus to much on that, they all ready have em with enough charges for shit that they can figure out. it will all probably get bundled together as 1 charge, and then reduced down to a lesser felon, then placed on probation.

dont fuck around to give them time to figure out what it is. you have the right to a quick and speedy trial. when the judge hears you want a quick and speedy trial, it speaks alot to him. like you know what your doing and your not fucking around.
