Any massive potheads have abundant dreams when they take a break from the reefer?

When I do I have lucid, fairly controllable dreams, that feel pretty real. But even while I smoke [morning, day, and nite] I have the occasional good dream, but the situation must be right.

Anyone else? It is almost worth the break.

Yes! I thought I was the only one... when I stay high (which I often do), I rarely remember my dreams... but even a couple days without it and I have the most vivid dreams ever... what's up with that?

one of the reasons i smoke is dream suppression. only way to get any rest. its a known effect, though i guess its not necessarily that well known.
i think it suppresses REM sleep, but i dont remember. could probably google it or something, but im feeling lazy right now. :)

Mhm. If you like dreaming still take 3mg melatonin, it helps with sleep for me at least after not smoking weed. It'll pass till i get my script. But yea ill continue taking the shit just for the good dreams, all of which i remember more clearly. Imagine being sober AND taking melatonin.

    yeah i miss my dreams..

i dunno if its a matter of not dreaming, or not remembering my dreams

melatonin helps a little. when i first started taking it i found it to give me spectacular dreams.. once i developed tolerance after taking melatonin for a couple weeks, that effect stopped. i've found that once you hit a certain milligram range, taking more just feels counter-productive and keeps me awake, imo.

Ya I usually have more dreams when I am not smoking. I might be going a few days without this week anyways, so maybe I will have some. I do not have a history of dreaming a lot, or vividly though. My buddy smokes a few times a day and still has 3 or 4 vivid memorable dreams each and every night.
