Ingredients (Yields 48 2" cookies): . 1/2 cup butter (or shortening) . 1/2 cup brown sugar (pack firm) . 1/2 cup white sugar . 1 egg . 1 cup peanut butter . 1/2 teaspoon salt . 1/2 teaspoon baking soda . 1/2 teaspoon vanilla . 1 and 1/2 cup all-purpose flour . Method: . 1.) Preheat oven to 375 degrees . 2.) Beat butter until softened . 3.) Blend in brown/white sugars . 4.) Add the egg/PB/salt/vanilla . 5.) Gradually blend in the flour . 6.) Roll into 48 small balls . 7.) Press flat with fork tines . 8.) Bake* about 10-12 minutes . 9.) Cool until crisp. . *On a greased cookie sheet.
