why is it that sometimes when you have a cold, or whatever sickness it is, you shiver uncontrollably? Like yesterday I got some kind of cold, I had the heater on max, two big blankets, plus I had socks, two sweaters winter hat, and if I tried to stray from this I would start to shiver so bad It hurt, I got up to look for something and when I got back in bed I seized up and shook so much that I think I pulled something. Ive had this happen before, anybody know why this happenes?
It happens to me sometimes, I think. Where you're under everything you can to keep you warm but it's like.. not your outside that's cold, it's your inside that's cold and you shake do hard down in like your core, I guess. When it happens to me it hurts so bad I get nauseous, I don't know how to cure it, but I also don't know why it happens.
the body increases the temperature to get rid of the toxins more quickly / or burn out the foreign entity.
after a little research I thnk the best answer I found is that, It's your body naturally telling you to put on 6 sweaters and 8 blankets, because a virus cant live in a hot environment... all the other reponses I saw were like these, "its the temperature!" yeah well still doesnt appeal to my reasoning. Another possible answer that made sense is that your body is using the heat for your fever so it takes away the heat elsewhere.. but I think the first idea is the best.
When you shiver it is your body naturally reacting to a change in temperature. Shivering is muscular and it generates heat. When you have a fever the slight increase in internal temperature tells your brain that the external temperature of your skin is lower and you shiver to increase or generate heat to combat the change. It is the bodies way of self regulating. Hope you are feeling better.
really I find the best way to stop sweating is to remove your clothes.. wear less clothing. If you have become sick in an extreme cold drop and can not get warm. putting on more clothe is going to make you sweat.. Thus you will feel more chilly and shiver.. this might be a good time to randomly soak in a hot tub, over and over.. Drink some juices, and eat well while taking bath.. Time to pamper yourself.. Earlier someone mentioned Peroxide therapy, and I was kinda high and didnt reply.. , (3% hydrogen peroxide, <6oz in 10oz of water do you mix. drink it all very fast.. This will put Oxygen into your blood, help with getting better, takes away bone pain flu type symptoms.. / peroxide is best used periodically to get the best results. Once twice a week.. or when sick.. Get yourself a vaporizer ... You also had A Typical BONE COLD>.. your bones are and organism also. They have become infected so to say.. Temperature has alot to do with it. As your cells are regenerating and being feed energy at one point or another you got really cold somewhere and the body couldnt heat it fast enough..... Slowing cells down, or other move to slowly.. you feel them as aches.. The peroxide is good for this, while it may be like chicken soup a bunch of bullshit wive tales. It just may work for you.. a theory I have is the freezing cold makes you crimp up tight., you also dont breath when, kinda hold your breath when dodging in the snow and cold, taking in less oxygen.. Blood stream needs its all the time..
I havent improved since the first day now its two days later, whats the wait time before seeing a doctor a week or somethng? I dont have my medical card yet so I have to pay prob. I dont shiver but I still have, a headache, fever, clogged nose, burning cough.
actually Im tired of being sick, instead of laying around and going, "guuuhhhhh my noze." Just saying, "Im getting better," really seems to help.
