Can someone please explain to me how I can add a photo and quote to my posts and create my own avatar? It says go to your user control panel but I see nothing for custom avatars or pics. I want to add some pics to my posts help!
Here's a little advice. See the yellow icon that looks like an envelope with a mountain on it above your typed message (on advanced message). You can plug in a web address there for a picture. See the paper clip. There you can copy in a saved picture on your computer. Download it and when it shows up click on it - it will open and use the web address (the yellow envelope) I think to have a personalized avatar you have to be a paid supporter. Try some of these suggestions. It's a start. Oh - and glad you're here - stick around and enjoy.
To add a quote/picture to your posts go to user CP and then edit signature. For a custom avatar you need to donate $15. You may need more posts to be able to add a sig though.
Don't give up!! You'll get it. Try this - go to the bottom of the message box and press advanced. Now go to google images and find a pic you like. Right click and pick "copy image location". After you copy the we address - go back to your message box (advanced) and click the "insert image" icon above the text. Paste the picture address into the box (make sure the pic ends with Jpeg, gif, etc. Click ok and the web address will show up in the text box. Then submit reply and see what happens. Good luck!!
You can also right click on the google image hit copy and then paste using ctrl+v directly into the reply box.
I notice ur a guest with only 11 posts. I can't remember the numbers but you may need to participate a bit longer before getting those permissions. It should be written down somewhere here.
Yep, I think it's 20+ posts and you become a member instead of a guest and more options become available.
ok guys thanks for the help I think I'll just post more then try again. And I have a question... If you write a poem and post it on here (in the writers forum) and no one comments does that mean you suck?
Absolutely, positively not. Your poem may have passed by those interested in your type of poetry. Many people will admire without comment - though it would be nice. I read your poem "Half and Half". I thought it was beautiful and very well written.
