hi everyone! i've just come into possession of a spinning wheel and started to read up about how to use them. every tutorial i've read or watched has included the instructions, "thread the fiber through the orifice", the orifice being a hole through the bobbin or flyer.
the only problem is, my spinning wheel doesn't have an orifice at all! it doesn't have a hook to hold the thread with either. can anyone give me any advice on how to thread it so the yarn won't tangle in the flyer? i'd really appreciate it. :)
