It should not yet be said that cannabis is a cure for anything, perhaps except for ennui. Some have claimed that is has cured cancer and other maladies, but the evidence for this is hard to come by. There is evidence that it can help cure ailments alongside other things. There is evidence that cannabis can stop the spread of tumors, shrink tumors, kill cancerous cells, etc. but it is not a fix all for all the diseases it can help treat. At this point it is a medical aid. Books and movies, such as the one mentioned in the OP are evidence based but a large part of the cannabis medicine debate is still speculative. It can help with treatment, it can put someone suffering from a sleep disorder to sleep, it can provide an AIDS patient with an appetite, it can shrink cancerous tumors, it can provide pain relief. It aids these ailments and many more, it does not cure them. Yet.
When you take a medicine and it cures you, it's not the medicine that is curing you. YOU are curing yourself. The medicine is merely helping you along the way by giving you a "boost"
And are generally a specific antibiotic that attacks specific bacteria or viruses(though you can't really kill a virus. This is why when people are sick doctors don't have a pill that they just give to everyone. Also you were born into a world of antibiotics, vaccines, soap, ect. Pre 1900 a lot of those diseases killed people without that boost, and still do around the world. Even if a body has developed antibodies to a certain disease it doesn't mean it can't still be incredibly deadly.
i doubt that pot can cure cancer. however, it brings great relief to the nausea that afflicts chemo patients, and is certainly a known pain reliever, it's use for the benefit of cancer patients is well evidenced.
I think you got your answer with the evidence that was provided. Cannabis can attack cancer cells (in some cases), stop the spread of some tumors, and even shrink some tumors, as well as aid in the treatment and/or relief of a list of other maladies. There is no need to continue to badger anyone on the subject.
I didn't even read the article, just the title, but no. No. No, no, no, no. Just no. Weed is great, I smoke it daily, but its not the cure for every disease known to man like some would like to believe.
That answer was not from him. When others answer in different ways, I ask questions. That's the right thing to do, right?
My answer was with the other's answers in mind. Since basically I was saying the same thing in more basic terms, I saw no reason to elaborate further and repeat things that were already said.
If you're genuinely curious. You asked what cannabis helps and you were provided an answer on numerous occasions.

I can't watch that as I have not enough internet allowance left. If it's saying that cannabis causes psychosis though I wont warrant it with a response.
